We wanted to explore Miami but did not want to lug our bags with us. I submitted a request via the website and Jesper replied right away! Everything was set up before we departed for the cruise. Our cruise was amazing! Upon arrival back to port, Jesper sent me a text message before I had a chance to contact him. We disembarked at about 8 am and met Jesper at about 8:45. He grabbed our bags, loaded them into his clearly marked vehicle. We then called an Uber and were off to South Beach for the day! Because it was a Friday, Jesper advised us of the heavy traffic in the afternoon as we were scheduled to leave from Fort Lauderdale International Airport. Originally, we requested a 5 pm drop off for the bags but sent Jesper a text to changed to 3 pm just to be safe. Jesper was happy to accommodate the request. Overall, great service. I will definitely use Bagboys again if the need arises. Thank you, Jesper!

You get an elevated experience without the elevated cost(s) like Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Celebrity, Virgin, etc. What PCL lacks in on-board entertainment (i.e. water slides, roller coasters, games, and entertainment), they make up for in quality, customer service, and a luxury experience... If you're looking for a party cruise, PCL is not it. Albeit if you want peace/quiet, fine dining, and a laid back atmosphere, PCL is the way to go. Princess very much has a distinct clientele and it's geared toward the older audience... I jokingly call it the "AARP Club Cruise Line", but the guests are overall friendly, respectful, and professional (you have exactly a 99.99% chance of *not* being jumped at sea or dragged into a bar fight because the riff raff had one too many on the pool deck during a sea day). The ships have a very vintage look and are not huge, but "big enough" and offer high-end amenities. You can be as busy or as slow as you want to be and PCL has options for both. Overall for the price and quality, PCL is arguably our favorite cruise line... We've cruised extensively with Royal Caribbean, but Princess has made it very hard to go back.

Overall, it was understaffed, lacked basic amenities, including long lines for literally everything, and had cheap-feeling nickle-and-diming/upselling that made for a very poor and unrelaxing vacation. Read on to see bullet points breaking down our experience: Embarkation/Debarkation Absolutely no organization during embarkation. Long lines with no guidance. We heard group numbers being called, but we hadn't been handed a group number when we checked in. We finally ended up asking the person calling them...at which point, we finally got handed a group number to board. Debarkation was mildly better and more organized, with group numbers assigned and staff doing a better job of directing. Room Upgrade Bidding Process You can bid on a room upgrade on the app. The process involves using your credit card to make an offer on the room upgrade you want. The app will tell you whether your bid is "poor, good, strong, etc." You will NOT be told whether you won your bid until the day before the cruise leaves. This process felt cheap and greedy to us. We would never do it again. Room We had a balcony stateroom. Spacious enough for the two of us and clean. The staff was incredible, working around our schedule for both daily room service and turndown service. Drink Package We bought the Princess Plus Drink Package - 15-drink max a day; only two casual restaurant options (no fine dining). Long lines at bars plus limited bar openings meant we couldn't even come close to the full 15 drinks each day. Room service to deliver drinks WAS timely, but had super limited options. Our joke was "You can have the drink package...if you can get the drinks." Fitness Center HOT, with no noticeable a/c; absolutely brutal for cardio workouts. No water bottles offered or bottle-filling station; one single water fountain with hot water dispensed - really, Princess? You can't spring for a bottle-filling station. So frustrating, and workouts were miserable. Good range of equipment. Entertainment Lots of live music; some fun variety shows. Comedians were really funny. Pedro was by far the best host of the game shows and trivia events. Spa/Massage Staff was kind, but LORD, the upselling was ridiculous. Couples' massage that should have been relaxing was anything but, as it felt more like a sales pitch the entire time. Casino We enjoy gambling, but again, understaffing meant tables were on limited openings (e.g. craps, Blackjack). Servers was nowhere to be seen...we'd play for an hour or more before they took our drink orders. Pool/Lounge Areas Not nearly enough pool chairs; we rarely could find a spot to lay out. Interestingly, they had a ton tied off, but many people were stuck walking around and looking for a spot to sit, especially on sea-only days. Pool is great for kids. Service staff to take drink orders was pretty much nonexistent. Nickle-and-Diming Many of the dining locations required more money, including the steakhouse, fine dining, even the gelato. Super frustrating if you wanted a nice night out. Staff Overall Very courteous and professional. Understaffing led to long wait times. This cruise really soured cruises in general for us. We recommend a different line, like Holland (if you want to stay in the Carnival family), or Norwegian, Celebrity, or Virgin. Just do your research on what fits your vibe, but skip Princess if you can.

Our experience at Snooze Hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish…read more When we arrived, the toilet contained yellow water, the couch had obvious cat urine stains and a strong odor that appeared to have been covered up with a blanket, the shower had no hot water, and neither the TV nor the Wi-Fi worked during our stay. The most frustrating part of our stay happened later that evening. We accidentally locked our room keys in our second room. While I fully acknowledge that this was our mistake, we did everything we possibly could to resolve it. Beginning around 8:30 p.m., we repeatedly called the hotel's emergency/after-hours number. We called approximately 25 times, left multiple voicemails, and never received a single callback. As a result, five people were forced to sleep in one king-size bed, and one member of our group was unable to access important medication that had been left in the locked room. An emergency phone line exists for situations exactly like this, and in our case, it completely failed. The following morning, when we went to the front desk, we were met with skepticism rather than concern. The owner did not believe we had called so many times and required us to provide screenshots of our call history before they would acknowledge what had happened. To make matters worse, we were told we would receive a full refund, but the owner repeatedly changed his position, making the situation even more frustrating and unprofessional. Everyone makes mistakes, and we accepted responsibility for accidentally locking our keys in the room. However, the hotel's complete lack of after-hours support, poor communication, unsanitary room conditions, broken amenities, and inconsistent handling of our complaint turned a simple mistake into an unnecessarily stressful experience. I cannot recommend staying here. Between the unsanitary conditions, nonfunctioning hot water, TV and Wi-Fi, nonexistent after-hours assistance, and the way the owner handled our concerns, this was one of the worst hotel experience we've ever had.

We went back home from this station a few days later. It was easy to get in and through security. We headed to the premium lounge - there was one other person there. I tried to get some wine from the spigot and I could not figure it out. Luckily- the one person there had done it before. He showed me how to have to select the wine on the electronic part to turn on the spigot, and then you can pour. The Orlando station has wine but doesn't have that electronic control board. So that was confusing but I was happy for the assistance from a random person. Thank you random person! I tried two of their wines and made myself a little dinner plate. They had meatballs in marinara and a chicken Alfredo fettuccini dish in the hot part. The cold part had a charcuterie board with rolled up meats and sliced cheeses. They also had hummus with pita and garlic bread. There was an attendant that came through to check the stock and replenish things. They brought a brand new meat and cheese plate while we were there. They're not checking very closely though because there was a long piece of hair tangled around the utensil for the fettuccini. Pretty gross but also that's what you get when it's an unattended buffet. There was plenty of seating and each chair had a port to charge your devices. We were comfortable as we waited for our train to arrive. They have non alcoholic drinks as well as coffee and teas.

Each visit, we've opted to take the Brightline from FtL into Miami. The train is economical, fast, efficient and clean. You can purchase tickets at the customer service desk or online. The station in FtL is small in comparison to the large expansive station downtown Miami. The Miami location has multiple eateries and plenty of seating. Trains operate on an every hour basis. I used the option to keep from driving into the city and paying for parking.

If you are thinking of booking, do yourself a favor and look at another cruise line. First of all, the premium beverage package is a scam. Imagine my disappointment when my room steward told me the drinks from my mini bar were not included. Drinks over $16? You pay the difference, thats not premium, that's misleading advertising. I had a balcony, and it did not come with any ammedities like robes, slippers, toiletries...all the above were complimentary in other cruise lines. The buffet was another let down. Fatty, unhealthy food options with barely anything balanced. If you care at all about what you eat, you'll be frustrated. But the absolute dealbreaker for me was the customer service. At the specialty Japanese restaurant, our waiter told my group of 4 that plum wine was included with the meal. Two of us had the drink packages, two did not. We told the waiter this and he assured us it came with the meal. The two without the drink package were charged. When we raised the issue, the restaurant manager, Steven, was shockingly rude. Instead of listening, he dismissed us, insisted his staff wouldn't say that, and basically accused us of lying, over a $12 charge. He made us feel humiliated and disrespected. That interaction alone was enough for us to never sail MSC again. When a cruise line's management calls its guests liera rather than fix an obvious mistake, that tells you all u need to know. MSC hides behind fine print, skimps on food quality, and shows zero respect when issues come up. I will never give them another dollar, and as someone who has over 7 cruise under her belt, I'd strongly recommend anyone considering them to look elsewhere. There are plenty of cruise lines that actually value their customers.

MSC Musica Cruise, Embarkation on Oct 23, 2025 From Geno, Italy…read more Room Details Musica is an older ship. It is in fairly good shape, but don't expect too much. We were on deck 12 and near the front of the ship. We had a balcony room. As we walked down the long hall towards the rear of the ship, we would always pass a section that smelled like sewer gas. We were glad our room was not in that area. With our room being one level down from one of the main areas, we were woken almost every night between 4:00 and 5:00 am to the sound of chairs and tables being dragged across the floor. We learned later on that this was the daytime crew, preparing for service. Nonetheless, it was frustrating. The temp control worked well in our room. The space was utilized efficiently, so suitcases could be unpacked and stored away, with enough closet and drawer space for all of our belongings. Dining & Cuisine Keep in mind that I am very picky about the quality of food. The breakfast buffet has mainly the same selections each day. We had the "Plus" package so we could get fresh orange juice, coffee and bottled water. The juice and fresh coffee were good. During the lunch buffet, there was always some freshly carved meat. Beef was included one of those days and it was acceptable. When the selection was pork or turkey, it was dry. The pork or poultry in the buffet was almost always dry. I was hoping for good pizza, because the ship sails out of Italy, after all. Although they are making it from scratch, it was bland and didn't satisfy me, so day one was the only time I ate it. Most of the time, the cocktails that were made were pretty good. Each night, I ate in the formal dining room. The food there was better than the buffet food, but that was to be expected. It wasn't always up to my standards, but I have high standards. Entertainment & Activities I normally don't engage in most activities on cruise ships and sometimes seek out quiet areas of the ship to relax and have dialog with the people I am cruising with. On this ship, it was hard to find quiet areas. The musicians on the ship were quite talented. Demographics & Atmosphere Travelers on this ship were mainly older, but there were also some babies and toddlers and always seemed to be near me wherever I sat down, letting out ear piercing shrieks. When the buffets were full, and seating very limited, people got pretty rude. Actually, there was quite a bit of rude behavior in general, at the buffets. I am referring to the passengers and not the staff. Service & Staff This is where this cruise line shines. Almost every crew member I encountered was very helpful and polite. I even made a few new friends! I am adding a picture of four badges of crew members I want to give special recognition to, for making the cruise much more enjoyable. I hope the cruise line recognizes them for their outstanding customer service. Value for Money Considering the amount spent on this 11-day, 10-night cruise, I believe it was worth it. When you are not spending top dollar on a cruise ship, you really can't expect everything to be high-end. For this reason mainly, I rate this experience a 7 out of 10.
