    The "safe" and "closet"

This is a hotel to avoid at all costs! In fact, it should be avoided, even if it was free! it will cost you money, sleep and relaxation. Shame on Travelocity for even offering this so-called property. The irony is that it's called the snooze hotel and you can neither snooze nor sleep in it! Seriously this property should be condemned and turned into something quality because the location is actually good but this property doesn't even deserve to be a property. I think it's even lower than a motel and doesn't even deserve one star, but it gets one star simply because it is technically in a good location . Beyond that, it is truly awful in all respects. First of all, it felt like a bait and switch, and the snazzy video does not match what the room looks like whatsoever. It is extremely low quality and the walls are paper thin and the bed is extremely uncomfortable. It's basically like camping since you can hear everybody's conversation and they can hear yours. Management was practically nonexistent . The way they pre-print the charges, it appears like they also charge for parking even if you don't have a car. It is near impossible to sleep in this place. If you appreciate a 3 to 5 star priority, you will thank me if you avoid this property at all costs . You couldn't pay me to sleep there! And mainly it's because you can neither sleep nor snooze unless you are impervious to noise.

We had a great time at the Snooze hotel. It is a true bungalow, small hotel with a great location, lovely rooms, and personalized customer service. The room was big, super clean and had all the essentials. The view was wonderful! Would absolutely stay again and would recommend others stay here as well!

Great location, but that's where my praise stops. The rooms smelled like mold. The room was really worn, it seemed like water damage. Staff was seldom around. Front desk licks up at 7:00pm. My key was in a lock box at check-in, it took me a half hour trying to figure out how to get in. My room at table outside my door where everyone smoked. Lots of noise outside my door at 7:00am.

Do you want to book a hotel on a website from the 90's, get a random text the day before you show up saying they are going to charge you for parking when the website says it's free, and then when you go to pay for your hotel it's double/triple the price? Then this garbage, scammy place is for you! First, I thoroughly checked prices all around that area and they were pretty competitive. I ended up stay at Snooze because it was one of the lowest prices and the rooms "looked" nice. I reserved a few weeks ahead of time and it displayed $59.99 a night for one of the King rooms, but I did not screenshot it because I didn't think these people would scam me. I get to the hotel and have to check in to pay because you can't prepay on the website, which is where the scam is. The manager tells me I owe double what I booked the room for. I bring up that the room price I booked was $59.99 and they blame it on their horrific website in which they say they "can no longer get ahold of the webmaster" to have them make changes. Pretty sure I know now why they can no longer get ahold of the webmaster, I wouldn't want to be associated with these people either. Anyway, now I am stuck with having to pay these scam artists double because it's the day of my check-in and I imagine hotel prices aren't any cheaper the day of. Classic bait and switch scam. So, I pay these scammers and get to my room because I'm exhausted. I immediately notice how tiny the room is and there was no room to put my belongings anywhere except in my walking path. I ended up having to open my suitcase on the bed to retrieve anything. I had the room right by the elevator so I was awakened a few times by people coming loudly out of the elevator...which I also noticed people have left bad reviews about the same room. I came in late the 2nd day I stayed and didn't even have a parking spot. This place reiterates many times how they have free sunscreen, chairs and a rooftop terrace like people care about that...but it's just a coverup to try to make them look good and make people look past how they are actually getting scammed. These disrespectful people also talk down about and trash the surrounding hotels, saying "There is a crack house 5 miles inland known for prostitution and shootings called the Link. I cost $20 more than they do." (As seen in screenshot). As you can see at the top left of my Google Maps screenshot, The Link Hotel is actually $49 CHEAPER, so they are straight up lying all while trashing other hotels...how disgusting! Stay far away from this place as there is cheaper, respectful, non-scammy places with better reviews right next door as seen in my Google Map screenshot.

Right across the street we saw the sunrise every morning!

Snooze is a lovely place to stay for a very fair price. The owner and his employee, Nick, are very accommodating and always around to help in anyway. We stayed in the hostel bunk bed room and it was simple and snug! Overall a great deal for a beautiful beach front stay!

Very surprising decor and quality for a little two story hotel. Booked this for our last night in FL after a cruise. It was highly recommended by friends so naturally I booked it without questions. Upon arriving it looks like a little motel in the middle of big ones on the beach. The staff was friendly and accommodating as we arrived hours before check in. They provided us with towels, beach chairs and umbrellas to go enjoy the beach which was literally across the street. The inside was absolutely stunning! The shower was amazing with the waterfall shower head. The decor was fresh and perfect. And the room key is an actually key! You don't see that much now a days. We went to the rooftop cabana to watch the beach area while eating dinner and went back up the next day to see the sunrise. I now highly recommend this place to everyone and will be back!

This is a small unassuming hotel right along the water line that was a great find! The hotel had a kitchenette in our room and was across the street from the beach. The Snooze offered free towels, beach chairs and umbrellas for you to carry over. We also loved Matt at the front desk who was accommodating and a delight. This was a simple stay with everything we needed!

There are no Bonvoy elite perks- though titanium, they didn't do anything special for elite status. The pool & service were fantastic though! We liked the pool table in the lobby but it's quite worn in :) The location can't be beat on Fort Lauderdale beach bc it's so central to everything. We had an intercostal balcony room that was spacious & perfect, and seems to have been updated within the last few years. The stocked mini fridge was a letdown bc it was broken & maintenance couldn't fix it so they brought in another, which was great but took up space. The service from Rodney on the pool deck was wonderful, he was so professional & still went out of his way to make our days great. The burger was delicious but a little too undercooked for Joey. We loved the hot tubs! Because there was a huge F1 conference (sold-out hotel but everyone working), the pool deck was empty so that was lovely :) All in all, it was a great stay -- a few minor details & quite pricey but we really enjoyed our time!

The resort was very clean, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy, which set the tone for a relaxing stay. The beach-view balcony room offered beautiful views and was a great place to unwind. One of the best perks was that the resort fee included two beach chairs and an umbrella each day. The hotel definitely looks nice inside and out, and the rooms are big, but otherwise, there is a lot wrong with it: 1) Our room was completely missing lights in the bedroom other than two small lights over the sink. There was a place for lights by the bed with an electrical outlet, but no lights there. The room was very dark at night. 2) A piece of the trim in the main room fell on one of us when we were unpacking. It was not secured to the wall properly. 3) The free drinks were not as advertised in the photos. There are photos on the website and around the hotel of fancy looking cocktails. When I showed the bartender one of these and asked for one of those drinks, she just laughed. False advertising. 4) The breakfast was pretty meh. Food quality was not as good as normal at ES hotels, things ran out fast and did not replenish, and when I told the people at the omelette bar I can't consume milk and needed them to make me regular eggs with a clean spatula and grill, they acted annoyed. 5) The peloton bikes in the gym did not function. All they needed was to be connected to the internet, but despite asking the front desk THREE TIMES to have someone do that, they never did. 6) The timeshares salespeople in the lobby are very annoying. 7) The pool no longer has the waterfall that's in some photos. Sort of sad. All in all, definitely not worth $350+ per night.
