I'm adding to my previous review because I feel there were several serious issues that need to be…read moreaddressed. It was almost impossible to find Stephanie anywhere in the building. We only saw her once, when we gave her my mom's medication list after it had been lost. Because she was rarely, if ever, present, we honestly thought Isaac was the main person in charge. That is why we continued bringing our concerns to him instead of Stephanie. From our experience, management felt very absent and disconnected from what was actually happening in the building. After we moved my mom out and posted our review, Stephanie did reach out to us. We chose not to return her call because we felt our concerns had already been communicated repeatedly while my mom was there. After we didn't respond, she had staff members contact us to ask what was so bad and why we didn't want to keep my mom there. We felt this was very unprofessional. We wish these concerns had been taken seriously while my mom was still a resident, rather than after she was already moved out and a negative review was posted. It is very unfortunate that it took losing a resident for our concerns to seem like a big enough issue to be addressed. We had been communicating with staff and Isaac about the things my mom was going without and the problems we were seeing. These issues should have been addressed much sooner. Another extremely concerning incident was my mom's handicap placard being taken directly out of her purse while it was in her room. I find it incredibly disturbing that someone would go through a resident's belongings and steal something as important as her handicap placard. Thankfully, she did not have cash in her purse. While I cannot say who took it, the fact that it happened at all is extremely concerning and makes us question how secure residents' personal belongings are. I believe Pheasant View needs stronger oversight, more consistent management presence, and better training and supervision of staff. Management needs to actually be present in the building and aware of what is happening so employees understand which concerns need to be taken seriously and addressed immediately. I also believe the facility should take resident safety and staff screening very seriously, including appropriate background checks and thorough hiring practices. We wanted my mom to be somewhere where she felt safe, cared for, and respected. Unfortunately, our experience at Pheasant View did not give us that peace of mind.

We even have started playing balloon volleyball in the memory care unit and the residents just love it!! One thing that is really cool to see is their point system, the residents get points for participating in activities, then once a month they have a point store where the residents can pick their favorite items from a "store" and spend their points! It is a big hit with the residents and it seems like they have a lot of fun. Sopa really does make an effort into putting things together for the residents. I would trust my family with this place, they would never be bored!

If you care about your loved one, I highly suggest that this facility be removed from your list of nursing facilities. Don't take my word for it. Go check it out and more than once. Make sure to check out all the different wings of the building. If you do choose this facility, know that your loved one may or may not be fed for every meal, he/she may not be bathed often, his/her clothes and other personal items will turn up missing (no one will care) and he/she might be getting sick quite often from the lack of poor nutrition, appropriate medical care and proper hygiene. There have been some good people there, but they don't stay because in the best terms, it is awful.

Checking in at the front desk was easy. I had filled out the necessary documents online, so check in went quick. I also had my payment ready which was helpful (and they gave me a 10% discount). While I was signing documents, the sweet lady at the front desk chatted with my daughter and made her feel better. This was just the first good encounter of many. We didn't wait long before we were called back. The young lady that took us back was so sweet with my daughter. I wish I had caught we her name. She also helped to calm the nerves of my daughter. The anesthesiologist was an absolute hoot! We loved his "dad jokes." It was nice of him to come in and explain the anesthesia process to my 8-year-old. It helped her to know what to expect. Dr. Major also popped in to say hello. He was great with explaining things and calming the nerves. After speaking with him, I knew she was in good hands. Surgery went super quick (which is a good sign)! They had me back there with her in the recovery room in no time at all! The nurse, Michelle, is possibly the sweetest human being to exist. She's the one who took care of my child after surgery. She brought her water, a popsicle, and a nice warm blanket. When my daughter was still shivering, Michelle rushed to get her another warm blanket. She made sure my child was as comfortable as she could be. Michelle sat down with me and explained what to expect and how to care for my daughter post surgery. She highlighted the very important information and made sure I didn't have any questions. She gave me a few tips and tricks which have been a lifesaver. When my daughter was feeling well enough, Michelle wheeled her out to my car in a wheelchair. She let me bring the car around the front so my daughter didn't have to be out in the cold. We had a great experience here and I'd highly recommend this surgical center!

The front desk staff greeted me warmly, making sure I was checked-in smooth and quick. I took my initial assessment and the doctor was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Also she made sure that I felt comfortable and understood the whole process. Provided room to answer questions and make sure I was on the same page as them. The expectations were set clear from the beginning so I knew what was to come. Throughout my visits, I noticed that everyone truly enjoys what they do. The physical therapists and assistants were not only knowledgeable but also passionate about helping patients heal. They took the time to listen, thoroughly answer all my questions, and ensure I understood my treatment plan. I never felt rushed, and they tailored each session to my specific needs. But most importantly, they healed my pain. I came in struggling with discomfort that was affecting my daily life, making it hard to do anything with my left side of my body. Pain starting at my neck all the way down to my foot. Through their expertise, guidance, and hands-on care, I experienced real relief. Each session brought noticeable improvement even when in the moment it never felt like it , and by the end of my treatment, I felt stronger, more mobile, and pain-free. Though I didn't notice if it ever got fixed or not. It would have been nice to know they fixed it because I was concerned someone else with not as good reflexes could get hurt and I didn't want that to happen. She always takes as much (or as little time) as needed. And I know that she treats all of her patients that same way. In addition her staff is exactly the same way. I don't have to visit her often, but when my wife and/or I do have to see her, her staff always makes us feel at home and greets us by name. Most other medical places I've been to, you go in, tell the receptionist that you have an appointment and they ask you for your name. When I go to see Sara, the receptionist says, "Hi Adam! Have a seat and Sara will be with you in a few minutes." And I've NEVER waited for ore than five minutes or so before being put into a room. Sara always comes in pretty much right after her nurse takes my blood pressure etc. I highly recommend!
