Do not use this florist! My daughter and I had a horrible experience! To get our floral arrangements to be similar to what was agreed upon and was paid for... Cathy the owner, (who is extremely rude and disrespectful) added a $5000.00 additional charge a week after the wedding! They will yes you for months to get you to select them and then they cannot deliver your designed florals the day of! They do not have the expertise to design. They are not artistically capable. When I met with Katie to discuss floral options for my daughters wedding, she was so patient, knowledgeable, professional and down to earth. Never was she pushy or making me feel that my questions or requests were not doable. Working with a family owned business gives you a calming perspective as If you're a part of theirs. They want to make you happy and give your the royal treatment. After the bride selected her bridesmaids dresses - we worked with Katie and her suggestions and vision came to life the day of the wedding this past Sunday. They were prompt, the flowers were fresh and full and absolutely gorgeous. We couldn't have asked for a better team to finish our church and venue with the finishing touches even down to decorating the cake, seating mirror and adding a charm to the brides bouquet. To say I'm disappointed and annoyed is a total understatement. Per photo I posted, I wanted a Mickey in the middle of my bouquet instead I got a triangle. I'm not sure how this was so hard to understand, crest even wrote "exactly as pictured" on the invoice as you can see none of the white roses are touching. There had been warning signs about this place in the beginning and I should have trusted my gut. After my first meeting, they wrote my wedding as 8/28/19 on the invoice when it was 9/28/19. Ok maybe simple typing error. Wrong- second invoice with list of what I want said I wanted red roses in the photo. I never said the word red once in our meeting. I had them switch to lavender. I should have trusted my gut and asked for a refund went to a new place. Now I'm stuck with pictures with a floating triangle =( read more

The most exquisite floral arrangements I have ever seen. They did my bridal shower at the Highlawn Pavillion in West Orange, NJ and created statement pieces that the guests are STILL talking about. Not only do the flowers look great but they smelled BEAUTIFUL. I had no idea what the arrangements would look like as the shower was a surprise. Matt, the owner, worked with my sister (MOH) and mother and came up with an elegant and fitting scene for my shower. Crest provided the centerpieces, candles, props for the built in "mountain wall", accent lights, a full set up and break down, and allowed us to keep the centerpieces. See photos attached. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. I originally wanted to book with them so so badly. I was willing to pay a little more because I have seen there beautiful work, also they are a preferred vendor from my venue at the park chateau. I have to sadly say that this place is a RIP-OFF! I was in there with my fiancé, we are paying for the whole wedding ourselves. We are 25 years old. The guy talked us up then went in the back to calculate his numbers. He said that it would cost $11,000 and that he would give it to us for $10,000!!! We were so upset and explained that this is no where near our budget and other places have quoted us half the price! So I was upset and my fiancé was so angry. Not only did he give us that price.. he let us walk out of there very upset. He said he will try to email us better numbers. Well get ready folks because this is where the wedding industry try's to get you. Then emails me a price of a little less than $5,000 !!! What really I booked with someone else and then they decide to go lower. I work for a bridal shop and can not wait to make sure that every bride I come in contact with knows how this place decides to work !! read more

I had to re-post this review because they moved locations and their old Yelp reviews didn't come with their new Yelp posting. Such a nightmare working with Crest for my wedding. The process was super difficult, Matt was not listening to what I was asking to have in my bouquet and kept suggesting something completely opposite. I brought in pictures and said I wanted exactly that and he would say something else would look good instead. It's like, sorry, but no. He never listened to me. On the actual wedding day my bouquet came with very limp and what looked like dying garden roses. Not acceptable. The centerpieces came out nice but the whole process was super stressful, not fun, and really annoying to work with this vendor. It was a real nightmare having to speak to the people that worked there and overall I never really got what I asked for. Avoid! read more

Working with Matt and the team at Crest Florist were the easiest part of getting married. We got married at the Park Chateau in the Spring and Matt created a fairytale wedding for us and blew away all of our guests with his creative designs in the Park Chateau Chapel and ballroom. Matt is as creative and knowledegable, as he is thoughtful and kind. Working with him was like working with an artist, allowing him to craft his "vision" and design a perfect dream wedding. My mother in law and I had no experience with flowers and came to Matt with no vision besides the general colors and a few types of flowers we liked. Matt asked us to trust him, and trust him we did! He created a magical fairytale like setting in our Chapel, utilizing spring apple blossoms and then used them again to stagger the centerpieces between various types of tall, and magnificent center pieces. I have never been to a wedding where the flowers were so magnificent, and every guest has commented on how he turned the Chapel into a fairytale. This is not a traditional florist. I walked in to get a bouquet of flowers and it has basically nothing. Just a few flowers behind glass. There were a bunch of people sitting at tables and a man looking like he was instructing them about something. There was no real counter so I walked up to the closest thing to a counter and stood there for about 30 seconds. The man who was instructing everyone completely ignored my existence and someone who was working in the back didn't come up either. You would think they would at least say that they only do flowers for special occasions. If this is the case, they should change their name to "florist for occasions." They may do a nice job for occasions but the fact that the employee completely ignored me left a very bad taste in my mouth. read more

worst customer service ever. i am a florist who sent a personal order to them for my friend in the hospital. they never called to tell me it wasnt delivered on the requested day. promised me it was on the morning truck and still never delivered it. my friend is home now and never got the flowers. they gave me a refund but didnt seem to care about the mess up. will never use them for my business or personal needs. read more

I used Crest Florist for my wedding on October 20, 2018 and I cannot praise Matt and his team enough. They were so patient with me through the planning process and I felt so comfortable with them. I got married at the Ravel Hotel in Long Island City, NY. People were coming up to me the night of my wedding just to tell me that they had never seen prettier centerpieces. It still makes me so sad to remember my wedding flowers arriving an hour late without so much as an apology offered. They also did not set out candles I rented for around the candelabra centerpieces. My MOH's bouquet was supposed to be a huge cascade bouquet like mine but was small enough for a small child to carry. My entire HORRENDOUS experience with this arrogant and insensitive business is one for the Guinness books. Yes, the flowers were beautiful. Yes, my guests thought they were wonderful. But what happened behind the scenes is painful to the point of comedy. Every promise and guarantee I was assured of were never delivered. No changes were made that I requested. I was blatantly ignored but the entire staff. In fact, without outwardly saying it, I was basically told "don't worry, we know better than you what looks good so just let us do what we're gonna do." I was told what not to do. And ask anyone that knows me, I'm not picky person. I'm a laid back, happy, chilled out girl who goes with the flow. But I am beside myself with disappointment and contempt. And to boot, when we made a diplomatic attempt to negotiate, Matt's response.. "you want to bring down the cost? Have less tables." BE ON THE ALERT ! I would ask would-be customers to be cautious about using this florist. The flowers and arrangements are beautiful, like any florists, and the people who work there (Sheila & Matt) are nice, however, they cannot make any reasonable decision when something goes wrong. We were celebrating our 17th year anniversary & a wedding at the chapel in Seton Hall on Aug. 19. My bouquets never made it to church, because they were supposed to be delivered to my home, not far from the florist. They were delivered to the reception venue. I am still trying to work out an agreeable deal with Matt, who until now has not addressed this issue satisfactorily. A store credit or an apology that you have to ask for is not an acceptable compromise ! The moment has passed & one cannot turn time back. So I agree with Michelle, it is not only sad not to get the flowers in time, but also a big let-down when you don't get it at all ! read more
