Our experience with REC Pool & Spa in Fort Lauderdale was completely unacceptable. Not only was the…read morecommunication terrible, but they also performed a cleanout service without ever telling us the cost upfront, only to blindside us at the end with a massive total bill of $1,393.99. To make matters worse, the pump replacement came with its own pricing games. We were originally quoted $600 for the pump, but when the bill arrived, it mysteriously jumped to $699.99 (even with a so-called "$50 discount" thrown in). Springing surprise charges and unapproved service costs on customers at the end of a job is a shady business practice. We paid our balance in full to be done with them, but we will never use them again. Do yourself a favor and get every single price in writing before they lift a finger.

I just can't say enough about how kind and helpful they are at this place. I am very pleased that they even helped us out while we were away on vacation and had a small problem. The first time I called, my call was answered by a kind lady named Valentina. She was extremely courteous and helpful. It took less than a minute for her to transfer me to the showroom. Once I was connected, a guy named Richard answered, and oh boy, he really knew his stuff! After speaking with him for a few minutes, I got so excited that I decided to visit the showroom and see what they were talking about. Wow! They have almost every type of sauna you can imagine. I purchased a two-person traditional sauna. I kind of regret not getting a bigger one, but I might get another one for my guest house because it is so worth it! The price was great, and they also offer financing, which I plan to use for a beautiful hot tub I saw in the back. That puppy was calling my name and winking at me! Anyway, I love my sauna, the staff, and most of all, the excellent attention and customer service. Now I understand why they have been in business for 21 years. Highly recommended!

He kept our pool green for two years but he always had some sort of excuse and since my husband and I just had a baby, we're always working at the hospital we had no time to really check in on our pool. We drained the pool because he didn't maintain it so the pool got stained. I left my job to be a stay at home mom and I started to notice my pool a lot more. My pool looked green ALWAYS and pools aren't supposed to look that way. My old pool guy came on Tuesday and on the same week mikes tech came on Thursday. My pool turned blue immediately and it was way under chemicals. Im beyond happy with what mikes company has done to my pool. We went from not using it to using it almost daily. I HIGHLY recommend him.
