Your location…read more You can not ensure your child's safety or care at this school. The level of care is not consistent throughout all classrooms and there are no cameras in the classrooms for accountability or peace of mind. Children are neglected. My son is 10mos old and got moved to a new classroom. He spent 3 days there. 3 days too long. Day 1: An otherwise happy baby, did not want to go to his new teacher. I just attributed this to unfamiliarity but upon picking him up, the teacher seemed surprised that he would need 2 naps. Red flag. Day 2: at pick up, you could hear my son screaming down the hall. When I walked into the room, a teacher was yanking him by the arm to move him across the floor. According to the teacher, he was just "overtired". He hadn't had a nap since 9:23am. We pick up between 4:30 and 5pm. Upon getting him home, I realized that my son was left in a dirty diaper for hours: so long that the smell has dissipated and the feces was caked on his rear end resulting in TERRIBLE diaper rash. The report showed no diaper cream being used on him despite our providing it and they had missed his last diaper change entirely. His report was also missing a bottle and somehow they fed him one of his snacks during his nap. Needless to say, theres a lie in there somewhere. Called the owner that night. Day 3: I spoke with the director that assured me this classroom would be supervised until things got better. She also told me that the inaccurate reports were across the board of children in this classroom. I was called at 4:10 to be assured our son "had a great day". When i picked him up, he flopped on the floor and cried for me to get him. when we got home, i noticed he seemed famished despite my providing 2 8oz formula bottles, apple juice, lunch, and 3 snacks. When he saw his yogurt package he went ballistic. Again, strange behavior. At 6:35 pm the owner called me to tell me that they had found my son's second bottle still in the warmer and he had never received it. Our 10mos old son had not received any milk since 10:45am. Upon picking up my son's things tonight, they had seen the unedited/unrevised review and proceeded to ask me if we really planned to sue and told me that they could've easily lied and told us that his bottle had just been left off the report. They even threatened to take action against my husband's place of employment due to the review. They also pressured me to have him take it down. I said that i would speak to him and made no assertions about how that would play out. They agreed to refund my entire month's tuition to include the $200 yearly service fee. We will see if that happens after they read this. Our perspective is that the owners are money hungry and showed little care about the children or staff despite raising fees at roughly 5% yearly. Fees are not comparible to other care centers with respect to value for money. Other schools offer newer, more updated facilities and technologies, as well as more meals. We will be filing a report with DHS. All of this is extremely disappointing as the teachers in his first infant classroom truly cared an kept great records. Unfortunately I cannot trust that our experience is atypical given the owners response. As an owner, I would want to make sure thay my care center was so well ran that I would understand the cause for a bad review given our experience and could confidently welcome a visit from DHS because I knew this experience was a fluke. Instead, they tried to strong-arm me into taking this down because their "corporate would get involved and DHS would involve (us) as well". Needless to say, we do not recommend.

Traveling to a new state can be stressful! Now factor in your child/children. And like most parents…read moreyou get a uneasy feeling. Fortunately the provider I had in Michigan referred me to to La Petite. Initially I spoke to Erica(who has since moved) over the phone and she was able give me enough accurate information that i scheduled an appointment to visit. I drove the 13 hours and to my surprise it was the same happy and friendly environment that she described over the phone. In addition to that I couldn't believe that my company had a discount with the center. Moving forward it has been almost two years and I have Never once thought about leaving this place. Both my children are well kept, well feed(Debra!!!), well educated with fun and planned activities(Miss. Cassidy and Mrs. Pam). Mrs. Brittany and Mrs. Shawn I see every morning with a smile and greeting! The security access is great! The cost is great! The turn around is not a concern unlike other centers. I would highly recommend this center for infant, toddler, pre-k and school aged children. In the summer their activities are planned and fun. My children Love this place. They offer, sign language, spanish and yoga! They do before and after care and even take the children to school! You get meals and snacks! You get a calendar of the menu and of daily events! In the event there is an incident a form is thoroughly completed and given to both parents. There are plenty of bathrooms and sinks for the children and if they stink it is because it was broccoli day!!! (lol) My children do not get sick as much as they did at other locations. Now I will be honest if you don't pay do not expect to just drop your children off. This is a business it is your responsibility to pay for your child's care! When you sign in/out an icon pops up if you owe. And they offer online payments which post immediately. If you do not pay there is a late fee; but as a parent you will have to deal with it. NOTHING IS FREE....except their snacks and lunches.. !!! The food is free. The children get along well and my 1st child is in elementary now.. so my baby is there and he is thriving. Change can be alot.. since Erica we have Mrs. Danielle and she is very good at what she does. She is business like the previously mentioned people and the synergy is good. I believe I have a good relationship with the staff and would hands down recommend La Petite in Collierville to any one that has children and wants to know that they are safe and well cared for.

They charged me $55 for no reason and haven't receive the refund yet after 10 times of complaints. They promised they will refund you but they will never do it. 2. if you choose to pay the tuition at the front desk, they will not charge you the full balance. So two days later, guess what happened. They will CHARGE you late fee! they intentionally make you not pay the full amount so they can harvest the late fee from you. And the late fee is NON-REFUNDABLE!

When we first started TLE, I would've given this place a 5+. It was not "perfect", but it mostly…read morehad everything on the checklist marked off. The staff was nice, they seemed to care about the children, there was structure in her classroom, and she enjoyed going. I was very transparent about my anxiousness surrounding my child going to a facility for the first time. The director at the time was completely transparent and understanding. Her teachers were very transparent and understanding as well. At the time, the only concern I had was the revolving doors of teachers in the preschool and up classrooms. Safety wise, the front door is locked and the door to get to the classrooms is locked and accessed with a key fob. After the new director arrived, there was an obvious change. The quality of the center decreased drastically. There was a lack of professionalism from management. My child reported to me that a teacher hit her and from reading the reviews, there is someone there that is hitting kids and still works there. The director did not care. She literally shrugged her shoulders and walked past me when I asked for a follow up stating that the girls asked the accused and she said she didn't do it. This was until I wrote an email. Soon after it seemed like everything that my child did was a problem. Every day or other day after that email, the director would tell me that she was doing things that was NOT unique to my child. She was doing what me and her dad observed other children was doing as well. It would be difficult for me to tell my child to stop doing things that others are doing at that age. I was never told the steps used to stop the behaviors except they would tell her to stop or had her in the office. I never saw another child in the office. And while she was in the office the director told her that she was keeping up all of that mess. That was inappropriate to say to a child her age. Also, I was never brought into the office to have a formal sit-down conversation for any resolutions, I was always told the bad, and never anything good about my child. I'd also like to point out that these behaviors are expected at this age but could be addressed and corrected with redirection or some kind of deterrent besides hitting her. I also realized that it mostly happened these behaviors happened more with a certain teacher. The teacher is nice, but I recognized that she was not equipped or trained to deal with these behaviors because at times, the entire class would be wild. It's disappointing because she loved going there. One day she told me that she didn't want to go there anymore, and that the director was mean toward her. I will never know exactly what was said or what happened, but I assured her that she will never have to step a foot on that property again. I originally put my child there for the structure and curriculum. I give this place 2 stars because the teachers are still nice for the most part. Otherwise, this place deserves 1 star for the lack of professionalism from management especially the director, decreased structure, pricing, and the revolving door of staff. If you want to send your child to overly priced babysitting service, then this is the place for you.
