I went to pay it but it turns out that it was a bill from 2022. They did not bill my insurance for it back then and tried to bill them 3.5 years later. My insurance denied it since it wasn't billed in a timely manner. And W dental sent it to collections without informing me. I am upset because I don't think It was my responsibility to pay it but I did because I was unaware of the laws on medical bills. Please make sure to call your insurance and check Texas laws on medical bills before paying when it was their responsibility to bill my insurance in a timely manner. They do not care about you as a person or they would have talked to me before sending me to collections and told me the real reason my insurance denied them. I cannot tell you who to choose to be your dentist only my own personal experience with W Dental.

From the very first phone call, their customer service was amazing friendly, helpful, and efficient. When I arrived for my appointment, everything continued to go smoothly. The staff was kind, patient, and made me feel comfortable right away. I didn't have to wait long at all, which I really appreciated. The dentist took the time to go over everything with me and worked together with me to come up with a plan that made sense. The whole process felt easy and stress-free. The entire week before my appointment, i had anxiety and i was scared of the pain that was yet to come! Literally - every video i watched, made it seem as if it's gonna be one of the worst experiences ever. A huge thank you to Dr. Alvarado & his assistant for taking care of me because they proved me wrong that i shouldn't be scared. He was very cool, went into details about everything I should know or wanted to know. Really understanding as well! Being that I don't live close to the area, he gave me an option about the procedure.. either take the local anesthetic (& be awake the entire time) or make another appointment so that another doctor could come in (& i can sleep through the procedure). Decided to take the local anesthetic instead even though I was scared lol but he made it a reallllyyy smooth procedure and before i know it, it was over in less than 45-50 minutes for all 4! Every staff member was very kind to me and my bf! If you're waiting for someone, they have a tv in the waiting room and they let you choose a movie lol. Also as a patient, you get to choose what you want to watch during the procedure if you're lying down! The TV was facing towards the floor which i thought was cool and different in a dental room for once lol. The interior design is also beautiful! Big windows with views (it's tinted so don't worry about strangers driving by staring at you). Looks exactly what you'd expect UPDATE ON MY GUMS/TEETH: healed nicely and quickly. So thankful i got them out because they were causing so much pain.

She was a wonderful assistant, a true asset to the office, and a real loss when she left. I always enjoyed my visits, and I appreciated watching how confidently Dr. Martinez worked. Things changed when Mary joined the office. I felt she was not honest with me about scheduling, and I brought my concerns directly to Dr. Martinez, hoping he would address the issue. Nothing changed. Later, when I needed another dentist to review my records, I asked Mary to transfer them. She was impatient, told me she would take care of it, and never did. That incident made my decision clear. I wish Dr. Martinez had taken my concerns seriously when we spoke, but because nothing was done, I will not be returning to his office. I have since found another dentist whose office is just as skilled and far more caring and friendly. In my opinion, Mary hurt his practice, and it is unfortunate that the problems were not addressed when they were brought to his attention.

They're even out of network for me, but I don't care. It's worth it!

These guys are the literal best. Everyone at the office is so kind and seems to make a point of making visits as stress free as possible. The receptionists have always treated me kindly and have not rushed me when I'm scheduling with them or have additional questions, the hygienists are professional but talk you through every step so you aren't surprised as to what's going on or what happens next, and the dentists themselves are quick but efficient in handling the concerns brought up. I'd mentioned tooth hypersensitivity in one area and the hygienist went out of her way to numb the location for my routine cleaning and the dentist went over possible advanced solutions to help. I ended up getting a filling over the area which has helped the sensitivity immensely. At no other office I've tried prior have they offered to numb the location to help with the discomfort or be proactive about the issue when I've brought attention to it. I never thought it I could be such a simple fix, but they took the time to care and the issue's been mostly resolved. It's absolutely worth noting that the hygienists and the dentists aren't rough in the slightest and have the gentlest touch. While I myself don't have dentist anxiety, I'm sure this must be a relief for those that experience it. I highly recommend this office if you do have dentist anxiety or are simply looking for a new dentist. You won't regret it.

I scheduled myself for a just a cleaning this morning for today Friday Sept 11 but sorry I cannot recommend them in the end. A series of disappointments led me to say not thank you and walk out. I was 20 minutes early for my appointment and they were 10 min late despite the office was closed right up to scheduled 10am appt time. Not sure why but they kept calling me by my middle name, I asked them to stop and call me by my first or last name but they kept doing it anyway. They said I needed to also get new X-Rays and later be seen by the dentist on top of this routine 6 month cleaning. I just had X-Rays and seen the dentist on the prior visit 3 months earlier, I just wanted a routine cleaning. They had a variety of reasons for the extras and kept pointing out its all covered by insurance so no charge to me this morning, but that was not my point I did not want the extras just a cleaning to determine if I really wanted their service in the end. My usual dentist is closed on Fridays so I was shopping a new dentist office. I had all kinds of trouble with a dental implant this year so I've been seen by a dentist at least 6-7 times in recent months so I'm not a big fan of getting services I don't really need or want despite their insistence of it costs me nothing today. I reluctantly agreed so go forward, the hygienist continued to call me by my middle name and failed 3 times to get my blood pressure so that is when I decided I had just about enough and canceled the whole appointment leaving and I WILL NOT BE RETURNING! This issue was discovered by me rather than proactively identified by the office despite months of waiting for care. I also had concerns regarding the professionalism of front office staff. During a scheduling call, I found the interaction dismissive, condescending, and unhelpful. When I requested management involvement, I was told management would review the matter, but I never received the callback I requested. Instead of communicating directly with me regarding my concerns, information about the situation was reportedly discussed with my case manager. This has raised serious questions for me about communication practices, patient respect, and whether discussions about my complaint were necessary and appropriate. My concerns include delays in care, poor communication, failure to return management calls, referral coordination issues, and lack of transparency regarding requests for records and information. Patients deserve professionalism, accountability, and direct communication when concerns are raised.

Left my information for a call back. Nothing. GOT IT so they employ people who do not like to do a basic task for their customers. And each time I would express that I need extra numbing agent, I feel that was downplayed or "hard to believe." I asked about "sedation dentistry." That was brushed off too. My last cleaning with them was enough. But enough about them. Back to the FIRST CLASS folks... I truly mean "first class" because I've had extensive dental work done over my life and been to dentists across the country due to being a traveler.
