Our first impression was that it is a very popular place to eat as the parking lot was full. Upon walking to the restaurant we noticed that the front of the place needs its doors throughly cleaned. Costumers wait to be seated on one side of the lobby and service is paid on the other. We were promptly sat on the side of the main room towards the back and our waitress was ready to take our order. The was a large party of customers seated in the center of the main room which took most of the space. The menus were clean and easy to read. We ordered drinks and a few minutes later our food. Hubby had a cheeseburger with a baked sweet potato and half sweet and half unsweetened tea drink, and I had a BLT sandwich with a baked potato and a Diet Coke. The food came at the time our bellies were growling and our waitress asked hubby if he wanted butter for his baked sweet potato; he said, "yes" and she brought a small cup of it. We ate all our food as it was perfectly cooked and delicious. At the end of our meal, hubby asked our waitress if she had brought butter or margarine for his potato and she said it was margarine. We were a bit disappointed because of this; if you advertise "butter" as an available option, please, don't give the costumers "margarine". Honesty is the best policy. Despite this issue, we highly recommend this local restaurant in Marianna FL!

I can say that the wait staff was cordial and had smiles on their faces, but that was outweighed by the horrendous food... Maybe they'll actually read this review objectively and ask their customers... Maybe take a poll on what they can improve. This place needs to be on your list to try. I understand it maybe a long way however, if you want, real Mediterranean Morocco food this is a place to go. So friendly and helpful and checked on me enough. I went with the two meat dinner (chicken and pulled pork). For my sides, I went with the baked beans and a loaded baked potato. My food came out pretty fast and they brought out their homemade ranch dressing (which was very good). The meal as a whole was very good and the price was very good. The all-you-can-eat buffet was just $35 for two people and was an incredible value. Everything was hot, fresh, and well seasoned. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy, and the homestyle sides tasted like they were made from scratch. Nothing felt like typical buffet food. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and unpretentious--exactly what you'd hope for from a hometown diner. Pro tip: Get there before the post-church rush.
