The menu features a variety of snacks, boba tea, and traditional Nepali dishes like momos and chowmein, all prepared with fresh, authentic ingredients.
The wife and I kinda stumbled upon Muju while in the area. We were heading somewhere else to eat, which happened to be closed, and we came upon Muju around the corner, saw the good reviews, and decided to give it a try.
And we were glad we did. It's definitely an interesting place - you can order food at the front counter, there are tables to sit and eat, but then also an international grocery store in the middle of the building. We both ordered a tea, some Nepali spicy chicken chow mein, and an order of fried pork momo, which are their version of gyoza, or dumplings.
Our food was delicious. The spicy chow mein definitely had a kick to it, but was very good. Dumplings are one of my absolute favorite foods, I usually prefer the thinner wrappers over the thicker ones - there were the thicker ones, but they were cooked so perfectly it didn't matter. Crispy outside, the meat filling inside was delicious.
We're not in Utica often, but we'd definitely go back again if we were in the area,
