My friends and I love hanging out at cafes with good food, conversing oddly enough about food and planing out next week's itinerary, which again involves food. We ended up here after having a not so pleasing crepe cake at the last cafe we initially ventured in Quezon City. We arrived Crepe Amelie around 4 PM only to be greeted with an empty showcase, which they eventually restocked in the evening around 7 PM. I know it's been 3 hours and we were still lounging about on their comfy and fluffy arm chairs. Around 8PM we left for another place.
FOOD 4.0
Dutch Apple Caramel (240 PHP)
Hot and cold dessert fans are in for a treat with this crepe with its perfectly stewed apple cubes, crumbly good streusel, and cold vanilla ice cream.
Toasted Almond Caramel Crepe (180 PHP)
Layers upon layers of fine crepes topped with a subtle caramel cream and sprinkled with toasted almonds. A very smooth experience with this crepe, a very tranquil dessert, I barely tasted the caramel despite being smothered on top of the cake.
AMBIANCE 4.5
A big reason why we stayed for 4 hours. Comfy chairs in a space that's equally comforting to be in. They have outdoor seating that carries a porch/gardening theme, while the indoor area boasts of a brick lined walls decorated with various cooking tools and they even have a corner with along table that just sticks out from the rest of the design in a pleasing manner.
SERVICE 3.5
Pay as you order system. They serve your orders, so you don't have to leave your seat. Staff should be much more prompt in clearing out tables, as the turnover of tables are slower, so incoming guests may be welcomed with garbage, not ideal. read more
