Our stay at The Chestnut Cottage was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived,…read morethe owners welcomed us like old friends and shared the history of their beautifully restored home. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. We loved all the thoughtful touches in our room--from the welcome cheesecake and strawberries to the snacks, drinks, Keurig with a wide selection of coffee and tea, warming eye masks, quality toiletries, and bubble bath. Our room featured an adjustable king bed and a large jacuzzi tub, and the bed was the most comfortable we've slept in on our trip. After dinner, we enjoyed relaxing on the front porch, strolling through the quiet historic neighborhood, and spending time in the beautiful secret garden beneath the old trees. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious and served at the time we requested. The Chestnut Cottage is more than just a place to stay--it's a place where you feel genuinely cared for. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to our next visit.
