But they told us only one of the owners knows how to make it, and she's only in on certain days. Okay, no biggie, we just order it on certain days. At first, it's incredible. Baked to perfection, added a little sauce and cheese on top, my parents love it. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago, a few Beasts later in 2023. My parents wanted a Beast for their 30th wedding anniversary. I call, and the kid doesn't even know what I'm asking for. Their current, updated menu says "Chicago Style Beast". He hands the phone to someone else, who still has no idea it's even a menu item, but then after about three minutes, says he'll have it ready in 45 minutes. An hour later, three teenage boys who look VERY well under 16 are the only ones working, and there's an active for sale sign in the window. Needless to say, the pizza isn't even close to a Beast. He basically made two pizzas, shoved one on top of the other, and we had to bake it for 30 more minutes when we got home because it wasn't even half cooked. Absolutely horrible.

Prices are quite fair for what you get, with pizzas at $10 (and each one is enough for a big lunch for one or a reasonable-size lunch for two), breadsticks with marinara at $8, and cannolis for $3. With food trucks, communication with potential customers is essential, and they do a spectacular job of keeping in touch via social media about where they will be and when they sell out so you aren't left hanging.
