A charming little garden along the riverside, Cremorne Gardens is a bit like stepping through a magic mirror near a busy street and formerly industrial riverside.
Although a 1980s creation, the little park is named after some now-lost 19th century grounds at the stately home of the Cremornes. The beautiful cast iron gates from that estate now make a splendid entrance to this cozy spot.
There's a splashpad for kids, but that wasn't turned on during a recent visit (on a sunny & hot weekend day??). Flowerbeds, a riverside walk, a very cool throne-like chair within a willow grotto, a small pier, and lovely shade trees make up the whole of this small but special park.
