Great. Simple cremation no frills. Very Low cost because it's like going direct to the manufacturer. They literally do cremations for 22 area Funeral homes. We contracted with Tulip Cremation and the local facility was Cremation Society. Everything was handled with great care and all our questions were answered quickly and professionally by both. The price for basic service was very reasonable.will use them again when the time comes. read more

My beautiful Mother passed away 11-24 and we contacted mark. They sent out two very professional and polite people to pick up my mom. They gave us all the time we needed so the last family members could see her one last time. I couldn't say how much dignity they showed to us my mom and our family while here. Later we were surprised to see 1 long stem red rose they left on her bed. We were so touched. Mark handled the cremation in great time and communicated along the way. I delivered her yrn and they placed her ashes inside. With 1 1/2 weeks we had our death certificate. Our experience with them was amazing and highly recommend them. read more

Mark and the staff there are very professional. This is the first funeral I had to arrange. My brother case had a problem with the Health department on getting Death certificate and getting to go ahead on cremation. They are very understanding and nice, Mark told me I could call everyday to get up datesand no extr charge. Again very very compassionate. I would use them again and Highly recommend them. read more

You get what you pay for. Mark handled my mom's paperwork and service and he didn't offer condolences, return calls, or remember who I was or who she was when I did get ahold of him. When I called to ask if she had actually been cremated he told me that he was waiting for the death certificate to reach out, and he actually said "and I don't see the death certificate in front of me so no, I didn't call." It was so hurtful I asked to have someone else help me. When we went to pick up my mom's remains, we found their location to be a dilapidated building in the middle of nowhere. The one positive with Cremation Society is that the cremation was 1/3 the cost of a mortuary. However, having worked with Evans-Brown in the past, I wish we had used them for my mom's service. I hope I never have to deal with this place again, it made losing my mom so much harder! read more

Just had my grandfather pass away and let me tell you my family's experience with this place has been horrendous. We have been dealing with a very inconsiderate and ignorant woman named rebecca. She is extremely rude and the tone of her voice is worse than nails on a chalkboard. She made it extremely clear that even though my grandfather is a vietnam war veteran that he would not be made priority and that "it is what it is" were her words. Don't know who is running this place but I would probably put her in the back filing paperwork and not handling conversations with family and loved ones. Therefore my experience leads me to leaving a one star review. Avoid this place like the plague if you can!!! read more

My Father passed in August. I have been calling since the end of September regarding his death certificate. I was told multiple times that someone is going to call me when the certificates became available, and there was no reason to continue to call, she stated rudely might I add. I never received a call so I decided to call today 12/3/24. The person that answered stated the certificates are available for pick up or they can be mailed to me. I asked how long have they seen ready and she stated since October. How come no-one contacted me? Why wasn't I offered the option of mail in September? It's hard enough losing a loved one, but then we must deal with the business they've left behind. You are not able to do that without the death certificate. Not being able to close this chapter because of someone's incompetence is ridiculous! You truly get what you pay for. Do not count on them for empathy or professionalism. read more

One of the most difficult times in life is when a loved one passes. But no one prepares you for how you are treated when you don't have a marriage license to prove you're family. We've spoken with Rebecca on three different occasions and each time she could not have been more rude, unfeeling, and inconsiderate of someone's grief. I'm appalled. I understand the next of kin rules. But please, the way you speak to someone and the tone of your voice speaks volumes. It's expected when you're dealing with someone's grief or death of their loved one, the person would show care, compassion, and empathy for someone's loss. I can say from first hand knowledge Rebecca has shown us none of that. As I sit here with my mom who's in tears because she's just lost the love of her life, her world, her everything. You can say what you need to say without being rude and unfeeling. And try to understand that sometimes there's more to family than a piece of paper. read more

Planning services for a loved one is not at the top of anyone's priority list. Everyone was helpful, kind, patient and understanding throughout the process. Fortunately, pre-service arrangements were made several years ago. When the family realized that some changes were needed to honor our loved one with military honors, Elizabeth was extremely accommodating. She communicated regularly throughout the process from beginning to end. This was not an easy situation to deal with, but without delay, Elizabeth was always supportive and sensitive to our emotions and always provided clear direction on the next steps of the process. So Elizabeth says she told my mom and my sis yet never returned my call to tell me The actual person that is coming in to fill out the paper work. Besides the fact that an extra charge of $125 was added which should of been added to the total when all this was arranged. The threat of not continuing with the request of our dear friend was a given and so unprofessional. But hey you are just another name on the "do not work with" list everyone is building on social media and Yelp. Thank you for "canceling " the other appointment to accommodate us at least you moral compass is pointing in the right direction. As you can see they are very busy by the way. Most people know She was more like a mother, With this being said I turned to Creamation Society to answer all my questions and concerns.They we're sympathetic and Very helpful!! When going through this experience You need this to keep moving foward and taking care of the final touches. When the two gentlemen came from Miller Jones at 4:am to pick up the body they we're well groomed and professional in the way they handled the body as well.
