After readings lots of Yelp and google reviews I decided to go with Confer's. Wow they did such an amazing job. My ring is platinum and it was waaay cheaper than I thought it was going to be. They do resizing in house so you don't have to worry about it being sent off somewhere and who knows what happening to it. They quoted 6 weeks but it was ready in five days!!! You can't even tell it's been resized. Great work and fast! My new go to place!!

The store is broken up by two floors and both offer some very unique items. I was really impressed by the first floors selection of furniture for such an inexpensive price. This little town is a little beat down but it just oozes charm! At around 10 o'clock Victorian House Antiques seemed to be the only shop open (correction: they technically open at 11 but the shop owner was in and kindly allowed us in early to look around. Extra star for him!). I love all things funky and old and this store had a pretty solid stock of every random piece of antique furniture or doo-dad you could think of. Although the shop is a tad small the entire store was expertly organized and tidy. I've been to some shops that are so crammed full of junk you're literally required to twist and bend just to get around. This was not the case here. Another pretty awesome feature is the price comparison done with some of the larger pieces. The shop will list their price along with a description of the piece and then they'll post a print-out from ebay with the pricing info and stats on a similar piece. You're essentially comparison shopping without any leg work! Although I didn't make any purchases this is definitely a store I will be making a trip back to when I'm in the market for some accent pieces. Nearly everything I saw (shelves, little cart bars, end tables, etc., etc) was in crazy good condition and very reasonably priced. Well done Victorian House Antiques!
