I would say my worst critique was that the foam cube pit smells like urine; even first thing in the morning. My second worst critique was that there was no staff visibly cleaning or wiping down any areas with high traffic or high touch. But that was the only negative thing I can say about this new play place. The facility was immaculately clean (opening day, it should be). The staff was plentiful and pleasant. Everyone of them that I spoke to were very nice and could answer my questions. One of which was, "How do you handle situations between kids?" Since I had to tell some kid to get off my grandson and tell my grandson not to kick him....I don't have a problem telling other kids to get away from mine. Great value for the $10 all day play admission. My grandsons loved the place. Compared to JumpnJax, a little smaller, but definitely has more inflatables and a much bigger climbing/slide area! PARKING We drove past this place and initially thought the lot behind the building was for the aquarium, but it was a private lot reserved for 2 restaurants in the area. We found a paid public lot nearby for $5/hour, with two options between the aquarium building. TICKETS $10 per person and FREE for kids under 2. No reservations needed. SERVICE The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They give quick instructions to all visitors to flag them down with any questions -- simply look for someone in a blue Topsail Aquarium shirt. AQUARIUM SPECIES A lot of aquamarine creatures and reptiles, etc. I appreciate the hand wash station, which was instructed to be used before touching any of the animals. Staff members were attentive and reminded everyone to touch with two fingers. There was a staff member walking around with a yellow python, which was cool. Overall, it's an enjoyable experience for both kids and adults. I'd estimate the visit lasts no more than 45-60 minutes. The exhibits are quite small.

Very knowledgeable, kind, and went out of her want to introduce each person to all of the animals. Kangaroos, various reptiles, zebras, chickens you name it! Each animal has ample space, food, water and things native to their natural climate. So many animals to adore and learn about. This is not like any zoo you've been to before! Can't wait to visit again!

Visiting is done via guided walking tours and you interact with most of the animals to include petting and feeding them. They have a variety of animals that you would never expect to find in a rural North Carolina zoo. The first experience upon entering the gate is walking around inside the kangaroo and wallaby enclosure. Rather than filling this space trying to list them all, visit their webpage. Our guide, Jennifer, was amazing! She was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She shared a wealth of information about each of the animals and answered all questions thoroughly. I highly recommend this experience to anyone and every one.
