Creekside has a large dog park, with a separate area for small dogs and pups. Nice friendly off-leash place.

I've been taking my Husky to a private area with friends for some exercise, but this area is not always available to us, so I thought I'd give Creekside dog park a chance for when we can't use our usual spot. The people seemed nice and my dog got along with the other dogs just fine, but after only a few trips to Creekside, my dog developed a cough that turned out to be a pretty bad infection. I had to quarantine her for two weeks as a result. You ever been locked down with a Husky for two weeks? I don't recommend it. Since the only intermingling she had done during the period was at Creekside, I'm pretty sure she picked it up there. This is just the intrinsic risk you take at any public dog park I guess. People don't always police their own dogs. Sometimes they bring aggressive dogs to the park, and sometimes they bring sick dogs to the park. Creekside is a pretty good, large dog park and most of the people that come are decent and responsible. It's very popular spot, however, and it's often crowded around peak hours. Unfortunately, it only takes a few irresponsible people to ruin it for everyone. Just take that into account before visiting. read more

This is a great little park if you have kids and/or dogs. They have 1/2 a basketball court, swings and an area to play in plus a cool dog park! It continues on for a while so you can get steps in while enjoying the local vegetation I walked here after dropping my car off at Capistrano Toyota and I'm enjoying nature. They have several different entrances. I saw some cute little bunnies playing on the grass. read more

Great park! Right off the 5 freeway and Stonehill road. Love that there is an area for 2-5 year olds with a variety of different types of playground equipment! Bucket swings, sand area, slides, and a huge grass area to run around . Unfortunately currently restrooms under construction but glad to know they have them. Very clean park. Downside, not enough parking spots, so I imagine weekends are tough to find a spot. Weekday we found one last spot to park. read more

Super fun little park that's tucked away alongside the creek so you know it's got all kinda fun elements going for it! Just a random day to come to the park they have a good amount of toys to play on some of them kinda unique to different parks I've been to as it's not the generic things that are here. The circle spinner had all kinda fun in circles to try to go around and not eat it in the wood chips but either way you spin it it's all fun! The tight rope between the rocks you can't go wrong walk and don't fall! Beyond the toys there's a good amount of grass space with some tables and benches for those park picnic days you know you wanna have all summer long! The park also has a decent size parking lot but it does fill up especially on the weekends so you might have to park on the street just to get in! Overall this is a cool little park that's perfect for all ages so you know you wanna visit already! read more

Great playground and equipment. However have had a problem with bullies after school here twice. One time my friend's son was bullied. This time an 8 year old and his friend bullied a girl to tears and laughed about it. When I intervened they could've cared less. A different set of boys (youngest 5 years old) flipped us off, no parents there. Didn't care that they flipped us off. Guessed they lived in nearby neighborhood. Really sad. Won't be returning. If you do come be sure to keep a close eye on your kids around the older boys. The park is big, and you might not notice the bullies unless you're close enough to monitor your kid's' play with other kids. read more

Regarding the dog park, I agree it is a hidden gem inside Creekside park. Even better, there is a smaller fenced off section inside. Most afternoons, you can find a group of folks with smaller, gentle and older dogs. Perfect for the shy newcomer. The "regulars" all seem nice and are happy to help. read more

There is a sneaky hidden trail by this park and it is not difficult so it's a good family friendly and dog friendly trail! There aren't any bathrooms so take that into consideration. It's not usually congested either so that's good! read more

Truly wonderful Park. Parking can be awfully tight especially on weekends. That's the biggest problem with the spark but I still have to give it 5 stars because it's such a little slice of paradise near the beach. There are attractions for kids of all shapes and sizes. There are a lot of trails to kick a ball and ride a bike and go for walks. read more

Great place to have a picnic, take the dog (free roam zone!), work out, relax! Lots of kids playing as there is a nice strip of grass and just enough trees + space to keep a fairly independent feel, not large enough to lose a community feel. Really great use of space. We go to the dog park often. The people are friendly and most are responsible pet owners. Having said that, some aren't. Like all dog parks, there will be unaltered dogs, some without shots and some aggressive. So go to any dog park at your own risk. This one is large, clean and well maintained. The wood chips that were laid last year made a huge difference. The water fountains need a bit of work. My guy gets a good work out and blows off a lot of steam playing with all of his friends. read more

This is a good park to take the kids. There are soccer fields, and some room to run. The only downside is the small parking lot.
