When the courts agreed and appointed Carolyn M Young Fuduciary Services to oversee our aging mother…read moreand her estate, we were finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. While our deep love for our mother never waned, we were forced into an expensive and grievous legal battle against a mentally unstable sister, whom intentionally chose to manipulate our demented mother into "lending" hundreds of thousands of dollars to her unemployed self, as well as working long and hard to isolate and alienate our mother from her family (it would have served her better to put half that effort into locating gainful employment)- Spending her time posting fraudulent and slanderous reviews anonymously against CMY merely bolsters our case. Truth: It costs money to hire a professional fuduciary to manage the wellbeing and/or assets of a person and/or their estate (as do attorneys, accountants etc.) Truth: negative reviews, often fraught with deceitful allegations, come from beneficiaries hoping for an expedited and maximum payday. Make no mistake- CMY Fuduciary Services is held to the highest degree of accountability... unlike a rogue family member, hellbent on helping themselves to an estate intended for the aging or (otherwise) incapacitated . If you or a loved one needs the assistance of a professional Fuduciary, you can trust Sacramento's best... CMY Fuduciary, to provide exemplary and honorable service.

I knew very little about my 403b plan and what I could do with it. Mark and one of his agents sat me down and reviewed all of my finances and then gave me multiple options, told me the good and bad about them, and helped me invest my money. In the past, I worked with one other financial advisory company. They were always trying to sell me policies, and I just thought that was normal. The Becker Group explained to me that they do not have any products to sell, so they have the luxury of helping me choose the best investments and policies for me. They weren't trying to meet some monthly quota. I'm not an expert when it comes to 403b's and financial investments, so they really sat with me and walked me through everything step by step. Amazing company. I wouldn't trust my retirement plan and money with anyone else! Hi Joe!

I met Gary so long ago, I can't even remember what year it was. I was young (ish) and he was young…read more(er!). My husband and I had a small amount of money invested with a very nice guy who was connected to a very well known and reputable money management team. That person did not do a bad job, but he also did not make us any money. I don't know what precipitated our meeting, but somehow Gary and I were in his first office talking about money. He was new to the business and of course that made me slightly nervous. That being said, I immediately felt a connection to Gary - he was smart, current, funny, relatable and most importantly I had an innate feeling that I could trust him. I had zero background information on Gary nor did I take it upon myself to find any. I just trusted my gut instinct after meeting with him and moved our entire life savings into Gary's hands. When we first made the jump I made my goals to Gary clear....he was to make us LOTS of money for the future - but our risk tolerance was....ZERO! At that point I left it all in his hands and my husband and I have had no input as to how our money was (nor continues to be) invested. Every now and then Gary tries to explain something to me and my eyes glaze over and I tell him - just do what you think is best knowing our situation. Over the years, I have come to know Gary and Angela pretty well....mostly by phone and email but with some in person meetings as well. I try never to look at our account balance as I don't want to be too depressed or excited, whichever the case may be. Recently I have had to contact Gary and Angela about some financial planning as retirement should be close. (Albeit I figured we didn't have near enough money for that!) When I logged in to our account (it had probably been two years since I last looked because I couldn't remember how to log in), I was stunned to see how much money we have! Gary and Angela seem to be available to me 24/7 (my work and travel schedule is crazy and I often have no idea what time it is that I am emailing them). If I ask for something - it is done within the day ...even when I do not ask for the immediacy! As I look back I think how lucky I am to have had a chance meeting with Gary and that my gauge of a persons intelligence and integrity turned out to be so accurate! I will be a lifelong client of Sterling Retirement Group and while I am sure I am not in the top percent of account holders there now, they make me feel like the most important client they have!
