When we began seeing Dr. Rosen it was 2 years ago, at the time my pup was brand new and she was having some skin irritation - I also have and had pet insurance at the time. Over a few months it was determined she was having allergies, and was put on Cytopoint. At the time the insurance was covering them but based on something Dr. Rosen wrote within her paperwork deemed the allergies pre-existing and they cancelled the coverage. I asked the Dr. to discuss and help with this because they were not in fact pre-existing since I had just adopted her, but she was no assistance. Each time I saw Dr. Rosen with my dog, there was something new that was amiss, once she referred to my dog was a "6 year old beagle" - (She is not a beagle, and she was 6 months old at that time.) I began to get worried about my dogs care, but then they began employing new doctors at the clinic, so I asked that I swap doctors and actually began getting better care for my animals. Those doctors came and went and unfortunatley Dr. Rosen stayed. 99% of the staff cannot stand this Doctor and when I brought up my concerns they all agreed! A few of them even mentioned that she was so inconsistent they felt she might be on some sort of drugs. She is so all over the place, that I wouldn't dismiss it. I wound up bringing my pup to the Swansea location a couple times because the better doctors were there. My dog has monthly injections so I have brought her back to the vet techs (who've been amazing) they are the only good thing about this place. While I have been thinking about changing Vet's I have honestly been waiting to see if another doctor joins the practice so I could continue her care with them, and see the vet techs there. On Thursday her allergies flared and she'd already had her injection for the month, that same week. I called and asked for their opinion on what I might be able to do to get her some relief and I was told the dr would call me back that day. That never happened. On Friday morning I called in to find out if they had anyone to provide me with advice and was told the dr. put a note in the system that she could come in for a cytopoint injection (which she already had the same week or so, these injections cannot be given sooner than 4 weeks.) I explained that and was VERY frustrated and asked if Dr. Rosen even looked at her records. I was told that they might be able to squeeze her in for a dr. appt. on Friday but I explained I was going to be in work meetings the majoritiy of the day and I wasn't sure if I could get her in, but wanted to find out if I could give her some eye drops or eye wipes... I was told they would call me back. While I was in meetings for over 2 hours the receptionist left a message but by the time I was available after having been pulled into day-long meetings, they were closed. The following morning (Saturday) I bought some eye wipes at Rumford Pets - I popped in to ask if those wipes would be OK (since they are right next door.) The person at the desk didn't realize my dog was a patient and I explained and I was just wondering if these eye wipes were OK, or if they sold anything that would be better. As that happened another person came from the back extremely rude and stated that she called me and left messages and expected a call back before 4 and they couldn't help me. It was so rude, so I tried to explain I was in meetings as I had already told her but she was even more rude, so I left. Now today I get a voice mail that states they are no longer going to be seeing my animal because I am unhappy with their service. To say this is a nightmare is an understatement, but hey they did me the favor I should have done myself a while ago. Please stay away from this clinic, they are unprofessional, disorganized, rude, and condescending. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone that loves their animals!

I went into the Attleboro Clinic for Cooper's annual check up. They had no records from Vitality. They said the Attleboro Vitality site was now closed, and I needed to contact the Swansea site. There was no phone number on their webpage, so I sent an email. I got a response that they received my message. I'll update when I hear that his records have been sent. The Swansea site has some good reviews, and many vets. I found the phone number for the Swansea Vitality site and gave them a call. The girl I spoke to was lovely and recognized me from the email I had sent. She said that she sent all the records and confirmed that the Attleboro Animal Clinic received them. Sounds like the Swansea office is doing a great job!

She had a skin issue that was making her gnaw at her fur and it got very matted within literally three days and with infected sores. The doctor pointed out that I couldn't prove that the matting didn't come first- insinuating that it was because she is due for a grooming.... which is why we are here in the first place to be seen to make a grooming appointment.....they basically didn't believe me that she had been experiencing a skin irritation prior to this that made her hair extremely matted in that spot. I would be willing to remove this review if my next visit proves to be better- they also tried to make me muzzle her myself and I had to go back to get them to put on the cone collar when I couldn't get it on her... meaning this is something they should already be doing for the price of the visit. There was just a sort of negative energy all around and I really hope it can be improved. It's not just about serving the dogs- it's customer service. The best part was when the girl shoved my dog's shaved off fur into my face rudely to show as proof of my maltreatment of my dog, seemingly. Steve- what specifically was said? It was the way she said it and her tone - was nasty. Hope that makes sense. The appointment setter said nothing I had experienced had happened and hung up on me. Also- the doctor didn't even say hello or greet me - basic stuff. Lol apparently also it's confrontational to ask about my dog's care and ask to not be hung up on..... what is wrong with this place? Lol I got no instructions about her e collar at all..... this place sucks.... There is no standard for customer service and everyone is rude - AND projecting that somehow you, the customer, are rude for being upset at what is happening. That's reactive abuse. DO NOT GO HERE. Steve- did you notice you wrote dogs should muzzle their own dogs lol- typo. But a clear example of how attention is not paid to detail at your business. I appreciate your thoughts about preserving your staff, but if there is fear there are animal handling gloves that are inexpensive and that is really their job - not mine - in my opinion and experience. Steve- more specific things- the girl from the start mentioned it had been six months since she'd been seen and so she'd need to restart one vaccine. She then mentioned it again a few times and seemed angry. She also seemed annoyed because she asked if I wanted an estimate- I said I think it's 250 right? And she said no it's not that's why I asked if you wanted an estimate in kind of a rude way...I said ok sure ( in my mind I was like why not just have the estimate ready and hand it to me lol?). I said my dog needed dental surgery bc my last doc called it that-plaque removal- and she argued that no it's not surgery in a very pissed off way it felt to me. Then she brought the fur as a trophy and seemed to be shoving it in my face and seemed mad about it- she kept saying it was matted do you see? As if I can't see it.... I don't think this is great customer service do you? When I said she needed to back off basically and get out my face lol she angrily slammed a book/ laptop (it was startling so I wasn't paying attention to what it was) on the desk. Edit- these people are lying. Look at all the negative reviews they have. They are the ones who are inappropriate and rude- don't ever go here- I will never take this down. YOUR treatment of people is aggressive- and this will come back to you in karma. You are wrong here and you should be reported to the better business bureau. Sadly, we had to bring our senior pet to be put to sleep as she had developed serious health issues…read moreand was in pain. East Bay Animal Hospital was able to give us a same day appointment. When we arrived, we were able to park in the lot behind the building, and there is a ramp leading up to the entrance. The waiting room is clean and spacious, with separate spaces for dogs and cats. Animals are required to be leashed or in a carrier. We were treated with kindness by the veterinarian and technicians, and the room we were placed in was also clean. The veterinarian treated our pet very nicely and everything went smoothly. I would recommend this practice to anyone needing end of life care for their pet, and the only reason I am giving them 4 stars rather than 5 is that the cost of this service was much higher than expected. In fact, it would have been less expensive for us to go to a 24 hour emergency veterinary office. Otherwise, the kindness and care we received here was excellent.

The new facility is better in every way, and the owners and staff are the same terrific crew. This is a full-service dog center: daycare, grooming, overnight boarding, hiking excursions, farm outings, etc. So far I've only taken my dog there for daycare and the occasional grooming. She starts yodeling in the car when we're a couple blocks away, drags me in the front door and trots off happily with the staff, without even a glance back at me. At pickup time she's happy, tired and ready to come home - though I think she wishes we lived upstairs so she wouldn't really have to leave all of her pals. When I travel later this year, I'll be able to relax knowing my goofball is in good hands. Highly recommended.
