The classes went okay at first until the end of them when the trainer said we're going to work on "socializing". The other dog was much much larger and quickly came over to ours and overpowering, literally pinning our dog to the ground. The trainer stated that our dog would "bite or bark when they don't feel safe" but instead, our little dog simply lied down and peed himself because he was so scared... This evidently caused behavioral issues with our puppy and caused him to be scared of other dogs and strangers. HIGHLY do NOT recommend bringing your dog here to be trained... Also the prices of items there are absurd

The next time I brought him, she charged me an extra $75 for the cancelation fee for canceling late. However, I didn't cancel, she told me she would reschedule. She made that decision and not me and then charged me an extra $75. She also spoke down to me for spending 4 hours on him and told me I need to do better. However they charge for each hour.

So much space to run around safely inside fenced areas with lots of trees for shade too. Inside, this building is immaculate. Considering how many dogs are here you'd never know it. The floors are spotless. Our dog attends daycare here twice a week and knows when it's a Take Five day. She is so excited she is usually pulling me into the car. We have also had her stay at Take Five for boarding over the weekend and we felt so good about leaving her. We knew she would be cared for and loved, and most of all safe. This is a special place!

Dr. Dennis did some research and ran a third test that indeed diagnosed Pandora with hyperthyroidism. She was put on a combination of medications and lived until the age of 18. Her last several years were happy and comfortable and I was lucky to have them. My dog, Tallulah, is on medication for spondylosis, a spinal issue. I never thought she would ever play ball again when she showed me the x-rays a few years back. She has been maintained on the appropriate dose of medication and her pain has been little to none. Most importantly, she gets to do what she loves most...run after the ball! It makes me sad when I see other dogs who have been diagnosed with the same disease and are still in pain. I repeatedly tell them my story and refer them to SNVH. If you have a pet that is suffering and you can't seem to get a diagnosis, please consider Stratham-Newfields Veterinary Hospital. I asked them if they keep them in cages all day and the girl said no they sometimes get put into play pens. I also asked if that's the case than why are there two in one cage together ? she told me she didn't know but that they are both males and need to be separated soon. York Bark & Play makes sure all of their clients are up to date on immunizations. Their facility is very neat and quite roomy. They offer many options for my dogs stay, including hours of socialization. My girls had to stay over an extra night and York Bark & Play had no problem accommodating them. When I picked them up, they were freshly shampooed and relaxed. They were tired out from all the socialization! When we pulled into York Bark & Play a couple of weeks later (just to see how they'd react) they got excited. A place they are happy to go must have treated them very well indeed.
