SUCH a relief to know she was taking care of things for me over a long weekend: answering texts, leaving me detailed notes in the house when I came home, and the best part: the reaction of the dogs when we arrived... YAWN! She is super detailed but chill and flexible, and very attentive - my doggo's first day there, she kept sending me pics (some v good ones too!) and updates on who my dog's new bestest friends were, how he was settling in, etc. I totally did not expect her to have that much time to do so with all the dogs she has, but very appreciative of it. She sets expectations up front, which is a good thing too, and is very communicative (although she can't always be by her phone to respond quite asap, which I appreciate bc she's giving the dogs attention). I found Sam on Yelp, checked out her website, and shortly afterward we had a meet n greet. Diamond absolutely ADORES Sam! You can tell Sam has a genuine passion for taking care of animals. She can "get on their level" and keep them engaged. Diamond's first daycare day went very well! I received many photos and updates on her progress (which I appreciated so much), and Diamond made a new friend there. By the end of the day, she was tuckered out!!! Sam is a dream to do business with, it almost felt like we were old friends: she's warm, creative, kind, professional, and truly enjoys what she does. I'm looking forward to bringing Diamond back for boarding and more daycare. Diamond is anxious to see her friends again too!

Claudia is the only pet sitter I have hired since the first time she looked after my fur babies…read morelast year. I have 3 cats, 2 of whom are older and require special food and daily medications. It often requires a lot of time and effort to get them to eat enough but Claudia manages it with no apparent trouble. She's the only pet sitter with whom my cats don't lose weight while I'm gone. Recently, my husband and I were away for nearly a month and Claudia took excellent care of my boys. One of them was having health issues and Claudia noticed a change in his behavior and immediately notified me so I could touch base with his vet about it. She ended up taking him to multiple vet appointments while we were gone and had to give him several different medications, even noticing a side effect of one of the medications. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

A stray dog walked into our business last week and…read moreafter calling police and posting on social media no one claimed this sweet old girl , we reached out to Vca Forest south and the front desk couldn't be more helpful and polite ! We walked in with her and we were greeted with smiles and love for the dog . Dr. Campbell was very compassionate for not only the dog we brought in but for the other animals there !She was checked for micro chip and also given a full examination, the exam was free , we got her rabies done and nails clipped and some meds for a wound she had and it was way less than other places quoted we would be charged I highly recommend VCA Forest South animal hospital for any of your pets needs . The office staff that we noted being so helpful and knowledgeable was Kelly M she answered so many of our questions and never got aggravated with us . You could tell how much Brittany, Millie and Shanya love what they do also they all went above and beyond . We will be taking our new pup here for her future visits ! Not only were the front desk ladies who helped me attentive & informed, friendly & courteous. The vet was thorough, vet techs were friendly & kind to our senior fur baby. I felt like or dog was in very good hands - every step of the way. Results for tests came in the next day and vet left a detailed message with an invitation to call back with questions or concerns. So happy with my decision. I'm glad I was skeptical of the reviews, stayed reserved, and did not let them deter me from cancelling my appointment. My experience was nothing but pleasant, professional, friendly interactions on the phone & in person. And for someone just moving into the area that made all the difference.

I have a very special little dog who…read moreneeds a lot of training and attention to help overcome her behavioral challenges and they not only understood what to do immediately, we've been making steady progress since we first met everyone. The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. The classes are incredibly valuable too. The results speak for themselves.
