I can say that I met the most wonderful, loving and dedicated team of teachers, and that my daughter had an amazing social and academic development during her journey at preschool. A to Z became an extension of our house and I felt like all the staff was part of my family. My daughter just transitioned to kindergarten and was very well prepared, meeting completion standards from day one thanks to what she gained during her time here . Licensed on 2010, according to the kindergarten readiness rate that is mandatory to this program and overseen by the department of education, this center is a low performing provider . Other than that needing improvement, the daycare seems very clean, spacious, professional and the staff attentive to the children. The facility is clean and professional, safe in all its safety features (the entrance is locked and you have to be buzzed in by staff in order to be let in). The owner seems a bit strict but professional and cordially.(though as potential customer ..she hardly acknowledged me..maybe she was busy with children/staff? I did witness a conversation with another parent). There is hardly any reviews online and isn't accredited with the BBB.Two reviews just stated it is highly recommended ..no details on why. The surrounding area is Spanish speaking and so is most of the staff. Staff are in uniform and are very attentive to children. This was a big group,but the three adults were keeping their eye out pretty well. However, the oldest teacher sat the entire time on her phone, looking through photos. Some kids got hurt here and there, but when one little girl fell on her head on the concrete the older teacher stayed on her phone and would not attend to her. We are watching this little girl cry while holding her head in pain and not was not being attended to. Furthermore, the teacher harshly said to the little girl "Sit down and rest, because this was your fault." If I was the parent of that child I would immediately take my child out of this school due to fear of safety and having no concern for my child when they would need it the most. This last week they called me three hours after I dropped my child off claiming she had what they proclaimed as a burn mark and if I had knowledge of it.
