I called because I was interested in enrolling my son who has severe autism, I heard that the…read moreschool would be able to accommodate him and went and applied for the choice voucher, I called the school and spoke to someone in regards to registration and was immediately turned off by her attitude as if she was annoyed that I was calling trying to find out information. I decided to go by the school to check things out in person with my son and my daughter. When we arrived at the office we were greeted very nicely and quickly and were told that we would in fact have to speak to the same person I had been in contact with the day before. I don't know if they just weren't very interested in meeting my son or having him attend their school but this registrar has a very nasty attitude and the administrator that was in the office didn't say much about the situation, the voucher or how they would accommodate someone with severe autism. I didn't get any answers and was just left with a very bad experience overall. You would think that a mom looking for educational opportunities for her child with special education needs would be given more directions/information but this lady basically laughed at me over the phone, had little to no knowledge of the specifics of the educational needs of someone who is differently abled and probably shouldn't be in her position.
