She constantly retaliates and harasses parents who speak up regarding school incidents. She will literally threaten parents with fake Truancy letter based on false information . She will send the school officer to try to intimidate parents who speak up against her incoherent school policies. She will eventually target the students mental health and grades to push the parents to take their kids to another school . She will constantly try to enforce absurd school policies for example a use of a plai navy blue with school logo jacket where she claims the kids will get penalized ( write up) and not participate in school incentives because she cares more about the students appearance than their actual grades. She will also retaliate towards parents by not allowing them to participate as school volunteers. Worse school ever their A grade is only based on teachers effort and students test scores because the place itself is chaotic. I ended up homeschooling my child . Best decision I ever made . They do not care about your child safety and mental health. They just rather expose the kids to unpleasant situations . If you are not cool with administration they will completely disregard your child needs and well being . They will have their grades targeted and will be placed in any classroom without taking in consideration what is best for the student.

Each year, our child completed the observations and assessments and received nothing but positive feedback about how well they did. Yet every year, we were waitlisted and ultimately never offered admission, without ever receiving a genuine explanation as to why. After three years, this process has left us questioning how fair and transparent admissions truly are and whether status, connections, favoritism, or nepotism play a role. From our experience, the process simply did not reflect the honesty, fairness, sincerity, and Christian values we expected from a faith-based school. As a Christian family, we have prayed about it and come to believe that perhaps God was protecting our child from an environment that was not meant for them. If this is how families are made to feel during admissions, we can only question what the culture is like on the inside. After three years of disappointment, we will not be applying again. Christian values should be demonstrated through actions, not simply through a school's name or reputation.

Coral Way Campus Review. My son had been in the MDCPS system…read moresince he was 3yrs old. He was diagnosed with speech delay and later Autism, though he was high on the spectrum. During his elementary school years, he moved schools a total of 4 times in order to have him in the best suited programs. But towards 3rd 4th and 5th grade we started to notice that none of these programs were providing him with the right combination of services and academic curriculum to really challenge him. He always excelled in math and sciences, but his full potential was never really exercised because many of the classes were below his level. Our case was one where we needed a smaller class environment with stronger academic standards as well as the resources to properly deal with the missing pieces of his overall comprehension. Time and again we lucked out and had GREAT teachers but their resources were so limited. This meant highering and attending sessions with private tutors, therapists, OT, etc, sometimes 6 days a week to fill in where the schools were failing us. When looking for a middle school program, I attended the orientation for Highpoint academy and found myself in tears. I cried because hearing Dr. Gigi speaking about the school's mission and philosophy, I realised that what I had been looking for and told did not exist, DID EXIST and was right under our noses. I cannot tell you how much highpoint and their staff has meant to us and to the development of our son's education. He had a rocky start, I will not lie. But this was because for the very first time he was being CHALLENGED. He was receiving the kind of education that fostered real academic growth in a manner he was able to understand while providing him the therapy he needed. For the first time in his LIFE he was able to come home from school, do his h.w. and then play or read or just chill. He was able to just be a kid without having to run from office to office for tutoring and therapy. I cannot express what a GIFT this was. He's been there for 2 years now and I have been so pleased with all the teachers, staff, and programs offered. They always make the families feel a part of rhe journey, including us in holiday and academic celebrations. I don't know where we'd be without this school or what kind of future my son would have had if he'd never come here. All I know is that I now feel as though my son has a REAL chance to a more typical and successful life that will include college and a career... but most importantly happiness and fulfillment. Thank you all at Highpoint for being the answer to this mom's prayers.

I asked to speak to someone who could tell me about the school and see if it were a good fit for my son. "What grade" then more silence, when I said 7th grade, I was rudely advised "there is no spot this year". I asked if there was a Director that I could speak with to simply learn more about the school, and she informed me she was the Director and when asked, she said her name was Angie. She was such a rude person who behaved like a scorned high school girl, I even stated that it seemed I called at the wrong time and maybe she was busy. I could not believe any organization would allow that type of treatment to potential families. If that were my employee, she would have been fired a long time ago! How are you still in business?
