Mrs. Right, Mrs. Reyes, and Mrs. Lemus were the only teachers that cared. And guess what? Theyre no longer there. Coach Javi yelled at 2nd and 3rd graders and insulted them, the french teacher made fun of those who didnt understand, and spanish teacher never taught. Switching schools helped me so much. I grew closer with God, I made better friends, and the teachers care. STAY AWAY from this school fell off and screwed up. Mrs. Dagmar, Reyes, Right, Lemus, the old librarian, and Ms. Miranda were always kind. what a shame theyre gone. Dagmar is the only good one left.

THIS REVIEW TOOK ME MONTHS TO THINK ABOUT WHAT I SHOULD WRITE AND HOW I WANTED TO ADDRESS IT…read more Ok i really want to keep this short and simple but you know what? I have decided not to. I've been at this school since 2012 and graduated last year. I now go to John A. Ferguson Senior High and I'm currently a sophomore there. It's safe to say I have more freedom now that I've transferred from a small, private school to a big, public school. But, what i mainly want to discuss in my review are the things that I experienced at my time there. With that, here are a few that I went through 1- Bullying Since my 7th grade year, I experienced pretty much a bunch more mental health problems than any other grade. During that year, I found who I really was sexuality wise. I came out as a lesbian in 2021 to a girl that I really liked, who I won't be disclosing on here due to privacy reasons. We then started dating March of 2021 until April 2021, almost a full month. Since then, I felt left out on anything. Nobody really cared about me and that just made me feel like I was a nobody to them. 2- Homophobia As I recently stated, I came out as a lesbian in 7th grade. My best friend, who I had a crush on at the time was the first to know. A month or two later, we started dating. Note, this was a few days before our Spring break. A day or two after we started dating, it was our ring ceremony. Since i didn't buy a ring, I was invited to celebrate with some friends and my girlfriend at that time. We did have a lot of fun, hell they even surprised me for my birthday since my birthday was around a week later. During spring break though, some people started to find out about us being together; I didn't think to much of it but once we came back from spring break, more people started finding out and I was scared that administration was going to find out. Fast forward April 19th, We were both called to the principal's office one-by-one and we had to answer some questions that I don't want to add on here. Since that day, I was scared about what would happen next. The next day before language arts, she came up to me saying that we had to break up because of her mom finding out. Fast forward to now, we don't keep in contact anymore all because of the fucking administration and the people that I went to school with. To wrap this up, I still think about these things that Gladeview put me through to this day. From bullying to homophobia, I'm extremely upset about the way they handle these types of situations. All I'm gonna say is, DO NOT enroll you child here by any means necessary. If you don't feel like listening to that last sentence, be ready for a bunch of sadness or anger from your child. I'm still suffering from some trauma that the school forced on me (Christianity, homophobia, bullying, etc.). In conclusion, I DO NOT recommend enrolling your child at this school at all costs from personal experience. *To anyone that reads this, don't take what i said personally, this is from personal experience and I just feel that it's necessary to give my own opinion. Everyone has their own opinions and I don't say anything about them and I respect that.*

The teachers are truly kind and genuinely care about the students' growth. They're always willing to help and go the extra mile to make sure the kids understand the material and feel supported in their learning. Another thing I really appreciate is the variety of sports and extracurricular activities available. It gives the children a chance to explore different interests and stay active while building friendships outside the classroom. I would definitely recommend Our Lady of Lourdes to other families looking for a school that offers strong academics, caring teachers, and a well-rounded environment.
