Situated close to the clock in the heart of the jewellery quarter, this place is easy to find and there is plenty of parking nearby. A lovely interesting watch shop. In the heart of Jewellery Quarter this is the place to come if you want to browse until you see that special something just for you (or that special someone). When I say they do a wide range of watches, that's something of an understatement. They have A LOT of very nice timepieces in this place. And a little pond with fish! This contributes towards the relaxed atmosphere that is sometimes missing from jewellery shops. The Creative Watch Co doesn't seem to give off the 'hard sell' vibe. The showroom(s) is/ are much nicer than the exterior. As this was the venue of our Yelp event I didn't purchase anything on the day, but am sure to come back here if I'm planning on buying anything of the sort. read more

I have been a customer of Creative Watch Co for a while now and can honestly say I have never had a problem. I have purchased in excess of twenty watches ,Seiko, Bering ,Accurist to name a few,had batteries replaced ,repair done on my late fathers watch, been given advice on different brands ,but most importantly always treated with respect and allowed to look around at my own leisure. If you need a watch for a special occasion or a gift or just because you want something new and different go and have a look around. Great when I went in to buy a watch, couldn't have been more helpful. Fast forward a couple of years and the spindle inexplicably fell out. Reluctantly accepting that it's out of warranty (though a watch costing over £200 shouldn't have this issue with very light wear) I left it for repair. After being told I would get a price in "a few days" I left the watch agreeing that nothing would happen to it without my say-so. nearly 4 weeks and several phone calls later I still had no price for the cost of this repair, and of course no courtesy call from the shop. Resigning myself to the fact that nothing seemed to be happening, and needing a watch for a forthcoming holiday, I went in to collect my unrepaired watch. I was told that they didn't have it; it had been sent to the repairs (the shop is located in the middle of Birmingham Jewellery quarter where there are many repairers) and would take at least a week to come back (obviously still unrepaired). None of this was explained to me when I dropped the watch off, and their indifference to a customer with a problem is staggering beyond belief. I'm still waiting to get the unrepaired watch back, in the meantime seeking clarification on where things stand legally with a) The "not our problem" stance on the fault and b) return of my property which has been sent away without my consent. Every company will have issues with its products from time to time, nothing is perfect, it's how these problems are resolved that separate the good from the bad. read more

Having previously had my Vivienne Westwood watch strap changed, costing £50, I noticed that my watch kept stopping. I thought it needed a new battery but that didn't work. My husband noticed a small insignia on the watch face had come loose &a that was what was stopping the watch. My husband took it back to creative watches & showed them what had happened & explained it was since it had been sent away to have the new watch strap fitted. The lady in the shop actually said ' how do I know it wasn't like that before!. in the end, she had her colleague look at it &I said they could fix it but it would cost £10. My husband left the shop & went to hockley watch centre, just around the corner & they fixed it within minutes for free. He also spotted a new watch for me. Obviously we will be using creative watches for our next purchase. read more
