Beautiful rustic chic wedding venue in historic Kaufman, Texas about 30 minutes from Dallas…read more The building was an old bank from the 1800's so it has lots of old raw brick and cool architecture. Book your wedding at least 8 to 10 months in advance and know that it won't let you down on the most important day of your life. Typically, they perform the wedding, then everyone goes outside and you can serve your beverages while they turn the venue into your wedding reception. It actually works out well; I was surprised but they know what they are doing. Trust it! There are lots of places to take pictures including across the street where there is a vacant lot with a beautiful brick wall and the stairway leading up to the bride and groom dressing rooms and the entire venue inside is so charming. The owner that runs this place does a good job but needs to work on a few things like making sure the restrooms are clean, fixing the hand towel dispenser and cleaning the kitchen prep area. I would have given this place 5 stars had it been clean...:-/
