I went home did some research and remembered that I got my first stamp at Ace-Kauffman Stamp and Seal Co a few years back. I called them on Friday afternoon and with my request and a small fee, Ace Kauffman had my stamp ready by 9:00 a.m. Monday morning as promised. The best part is, it was only $10 more than what Office Max had quoted me for a stamp which, as I mentioned, I wouldn't receive for 10 days. Even better, I supported a local biz and that always feels so good. Although it's "just a stamp" I am so pleased with it and will always return here for my notary needs.

This was my second time ordering from Underground Printing, and I am once again more than…read moresatisfied! While custom printing is not inexpensive, the products are unique, and quality is remembered long after the price is forgot. I specifically ordered Hanes Beefy T's because I love the heavy cotton and how well the collars hold up over the long haul. My first order was a Moose hoodie, which is still wearing incredibly well! A truly welcome piece of personal history brought back to life. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Brian Rasinski for both of my orders. Brian was super helpful with the design layout on both shirts, offering great communication and making the process incredibly smooth. On top of the stellar service and product quality, everything was delivered exactly on time.

Unfortunately, we had a negative experience with Underground Printing from the start, so much so…read morethat we had to request a refund for our ordered products and take our printing needs elsewhere. (We've had none of the same issues since when using a different company.) The communication was confusing, resulting in a lot more back-and-forth than was necessary (especially compared to our experiences with a different company afterwards). Deadlines were not met, the online store was so poorly produced that we needed to delay even further and schedule additional phone calls and a follow-up in-person visit to get it right. We never received samples that we had been promised. So after 3 months of delays, we went forward without seeing a sample of the product in person. We only approved online mock-ups. When the products arrived, we saw that the printing was of incredibly poor quality. Some of the designs were coming off already, the colors were nowhere close to the same Pantone color as the mock-up had identified (and we'd approved), and the letters were illegible, plus the printer alignment was clearly off. To their credit, Underground Printing offered to fix the issues, but at that point we had been in talks with them for so long, had wasted so much time, and had so many issues to fix that we took our orders elsewhere instead. Underground Printing admitted the fact that they had dropped the ball on our order. But that doesn't give us back the months of time we lost trying to make it work with them. Our experience with a different company has been easy from the start, and only a week later we have received samples in excellent shape. For these reasons, I highly recommend going elsewhere for your printing needs.

It took some time to look at and consider all the stats pros and cons of various brands and prices. When we finally had the list of components finalized, it turned out that one piece was out of stock and would be available next week. We placed and paid for the order and they will call when it arrived. Not only is this the busy holiday season with lots of competition among customers for a limited number of available stock items, we had not been ready to commit until now and supplies of technical gear has been stifled by "outside" issues. It's a great store and I doubt you can find this sort of equipment expertise in person any where else in the area.

You cannot go wrong with Mile High Astronomy for friendly service, excellent product knowledge,…read moreproduct inventory and tech support. Jon, who is in charge of used equipment along with his general sales role, gets a special shout out from me for his assistance in helping me settle in on a purchase of a used Vespera 2 smart telescope. I had it shipped to me for convenience and Jon was true to his word about how clean and well packaged the telescope would be upon arrival, including the stout case that keeps the telescope well protected when not in use. Of course, Jon could not test the scope in the field for functionality, but he did know the original owner and vouched for the owner's good care of the instrument. Last night, we got lucky with the clouds here in Castle Rock and had a splendid view of the lunar eclipse. I took the telescope out and found it to be very easy to use, allowing me to acquire some nice photos of the eclipse. Even though I chose to save the images in jpg form as opposed to raw files, post processing worked well in generating final pics. Based on this experience, I fully expect the telescope to work quite well on deep sky imaging!
