I owe the owners of this business an apology for not having written a review sooner. Their work is exceptional and absolutely what you need if you're hoping to gift someone something impressive and creative. My husband's softball team always has the BEST trophies, so when it came time to get my boss something for his 10 year anniversary, I asked the captain for his trophy guy's info. The inspiring trophy is a sledgehammer engraved with the name of the winning teammate, helpfully named "The Sledgehammer Award". I knew I wanted something unique and special like the sledgehammer to commemorate the occasion for my boss. Once he gave me A-1's info I began speaking with Lori over email. I asked what could be engraved and the answer was pretty much anything. She gave me a catalog of things to look through and said if I wanted to pick something out on my own she would be happy to tell me what they could do with it. My boss is a huge CU fan, so after browsing their website I came up with two options I liked: a football in a CU case, or a CU player's helmet. Lori was honest about how they could engrave each, and what to expect. Based on her input, we went with the football in the CU case. She said it could be laser engraved, whereas a helmet could not be engraved, though they could make a custom decal. She invited us to the shop once we had the football in hand, where she quoted us on pricing. Once we had agreed she sent us back to Scott, who helped us design exactly what we wanted the engraving to look like. I liked that Scott was sure to point out what was realistic in design and what was not, instead of giving us a product that didn't look great. He explained to us what could be etched into a football and what it would look like once blown up. We left feeling like we had the makings of a really successful gift lined up. Once we picked up the finished product our jaws hit the floor. It was perfect. A one-of-a-kind representation of our boss' hard work over the last ten years. He is so in love with this gift, and it is displayed proudly on his desk. They charged us less than $30 for the engraving, and we were left with a souvenir that will be treasured forever.
