This salon has been very busy both times I came, so just prepare a bit for a wait, even if you call in advance or have an appointment. To me, I do not mind waiting a little bit if they are busy, as I get my pedi only when I know I do not have a tight schedule to follow. I would recommend this salon, and I would especially recommend Rose. Bring cash for tips (which I usually fail at doing) or pay tips via Venmo.

Ladies, when I called the phone number, I was mortified that I awoke him at 6:30 am. when he picked up his phone. I made my appointment for Friday at 1 pm. In full disclosure, I am a direction dummy who can't find new places even when sent a map. He was so patient with my getting lost off Carmel Mountain Rd. This road is Retail on Steroids, in a thoughtful way... So Andy is waiting for me in the short lobby area of Sola Salons store front adjacent to Rubios Fish on the corner building. All the rooms have glass for transparency and noise cancellation. He was so loving when I told him I needed a moment to reset after Frustration finding him!! He holds the Holy Grail for Business Service communications. He is a graduate of San Diego City College Cosmetology program. He travels throughout the country as Instructor, Trainer with Live Demos. Andy will guide and educate you about your skin and nails and interpret your needs based on Body and Face reading, which comes from the Eastern Canon of Healing Medicines. The salon room is clean, decorated in white with black trim and sized for one on one appointments. No more service in a room full of Bodies. I know we are post Covid, but his attention to detail in sanitation, customer care, and positive luxe vibes are priceless. I have received so many more goodies from the consultation than the basic snacks and canned Kirkland Sparkling flavored water from the glass door refrigerator. I had a pedicure with a massage that was incredibly relaxing, and my wife had a dip manicure that came out beautiful. The quality of Jackie's work really stood out -- clean, precise, and very well done. What impressed us most is that Jackie does an amazing job and she's very efficient. As working professionals, we truly appreciate being able to get top-quality service without spending all day at the salon. That alone makes us want to come back. The technician doing my pedicure was noticeably rude and kept commenting that I wasn't "relaxed enough," which was frustrating given the environment. I was seated right next to someone having their nails filed, and the dust was blowing onto my area, including my purse and the coffee I brought in, I had to keep everything in my lap (I commented about the dust flying all over my things they did nothing to help the situation) They began my manicure and pedicure at the same time, and both felt hurried. Toward the end, one of my nails was uneven, and when I asked for it to be fixed, the response felt annoyed rather than accommodating. (They did not fix it properly just painted over the issue area.) The pedicure technician was apparently angry I asked the manicurist to fix my nails so she ripped my toe separators out as fast as she could and gave me a dismissive look, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. This was a very unpleasant visit and uncomfortable I have never been treated so rudely during a nail service. I will not be returning to this establishment. That's a lot of money to spend to somebody treat you so rudely. I hope management takes steps to improve both the service quality and overall customer experience.

I have to add, my mom had gel and she didn't want it anymore and just wanted to do regular polish, so as I was telling the lady. She said that she would do the gel manicure, and I said again "oh no thank you, she just wants regular polish" the lady scoffed and turned. And the entiiiiire time my mom was getting her nails done with her, she had a hoooorrible attitude. Literally doing my mom's nails just to get them over with. And when my mom asked for a bit more filing the lady stopped and stared at me annoyed. We came in hoping to find a salon we could come back to, but after being treated this way we're definitely not coming back.
