Me, my mom, and my sister love this place. We mostly get our brows done here by Bee. We used to go to European Wax, but compared to her, they are no match. If you're Asian you should go here because her work compliments our face shape and features the best (compared to other non-asian owned salons). Bee has been keeping my brows on fleek since 6th grade and I don't know what to do for when I move away for college :( read more

My daughters and I have been coming here for years for waxing and I am always very pleased with the results. The shop is very clean and they have all the plexiglass installed to keep customers safe. I've actually had a terrible visit in the past and issues with other workers and how they did my manicure BUT I keep coming back just for Hoa. For Hoa specifically, I give this salon 5/5 stars. ALWAYS GO TO HER, definitely the best! She really takes her time to clean your nails and you can feel and see the difference before she even paints it. She also massages your feet and legs and isn't stingy with anything. Not to mention she's so sweet and always smiling at you! Every pedicure is so relaxing and I can't help but tip her well afterwards every time. Best spa pedicure ($25 with massage chair) I've ever gotten and will definitely keep coming back! Waste of money and time! It took 1hour and I sent $32! I already removed new gel nail polish. My toddler kids can do better than this. The technician took 30miniutes more for remove my old gel nail polish, and she used a brush for remove the new gel polish every time for every fingers because she couldn't manicure cleanly. read more

I have been coming here since they opened, I get great service. Bea is great. I get good services from all the ladies.

The ONLY reason I went here is they have mood- color changing gel polish. To be honest. The first time I came here which was the only time so far, I asked to get my acrylics taken off & My left ring finger was cut on both sides of the finger nail. It hurt so bad. I was bleeding & requested that she not put any gel or any type of chemical on that specific nail. And one more thing I didnt like too much about this place Is I paid 27 dollars (20 for the gel & 7 to take off my old acrylics) & they didnt soak my fingers in that soap water/ cut my cuticles off? I am very picky with my nails & still have yet to find "The perfect nail salon" (price/quality/location) So I usually drive distances to get what I want but that gets old so quick, So I settle for places that give me Half done jobs & I still end up paying some other way. Not going to lie though, I might come back just because they have the mood gel polish. read more

I've been coming here for almost 10 years and I hate to go anywhere else!!! The only time I did was when I lived on the East Coast and even then I would make an appointment every time I would come home to visit. The ladies there are sooo amazing and accommodating! They are like family at this point!!! Nan even knows exactly how to avoid tickling my feet during my pedi and Bee gets me in and out in no time!! Very particular with the nail salons I visit as well as my nails. Was in a hurry and in the area so I dropped in without an appointment on a Friday. Nail color selection & brand (they only have OPI) could be better. But was pleased with my basic manicure ($12) Salon was very clean, clean tools, staff was friendly, parking was not a problem & little wait. Would come again for a pedicure. read more

I had Hoa, she was very nice and did a wonderful job. I'm rating a 3 because for the 2nd half of my visits it appeared an employee/owner came in, just walking up and down the inside, no mask, speaking loudly to everyone or no one. Opening and closing drawers. I had to ask her to stand back since she had no mask and she still didn't take the hint. She didn't like that. It would have been much more relaxing if the off shift employee/owner respected the customers. read more

I was a more than a little disappointed with my gel manicure. The technician took over thirty minutes to get my old gel polish off. If she would have let it soak, we could have cut our time in have. Usually a person is systematic as to doing your nails, this person was one hand, the other and then back to finger on previous hand she had already completed.. Salon is clean but cost wise not as competitive. She charges about 20% more than others in the area. read more

I have been to numerous nail salons to help me relieve of my foot pain due to ingrown but failed except now. I stumbled on this place and HOA, the technician released me of my misery. She is amazing and very patient. Place is clean and the workers here are very helpful and pleasant. Now I can wear shoes pain free thanks to her. Pain free feet is amazing. read more

BEWARE!! I will not be back. BAIT AND SWITCH went here based on the ratings , i called for an appt and asked how much a pedicure was. I was told $18.00. Upon arrive i walked in and asked for a Pedicure. I was told to pick out my nail color and have a seat. The pedicure... it was nice and the lady who did it was rather sweet. No one said more than 4 words to me the entire time I was there. When it came time to pay.. she told me it was $25.00. I asked why when I asked for pedicure and it is $18. The response was well you got a spa pedicure. Not having ever been there before I told her that is not what I asked for and i wouldnt know what I got. I had specifically said pedicure. They told me where to go and didnt ask if i wanted a spa pedicure but dexided to give me one without telljng me. It is not worth the 25.00 either. I feel they are trying to take advantage of customers and because of the language difference they dont care. The owner proceeded to take a pic of me with out my authorization as I was paying the bill which will be disputed. I will never come here again. read more

So... I have been wanting to write a review about Creative Nail & Spa for quite some time now and I just really haven't had the time, but now I do! Let me just start off saying that I completely agree with Patti K.(the review below me) and my story is very similar. My mom and I have been going to this place for 15+ years, the moment we walked in we were impressed and loved the ladies here! It is a family owned business and all the ladies I love and are like family to me, I won't go anywhere else! Be & Hoa did my prom nails and I am 30 years old now! I am still single and of course she pretty much knows everything that has happened in my life, good and bad! When the time comes for me to get married she will be doing my nails and they will all be at my wedding ;)! I highly recommend this place and I have had many friends come here and they loved them and their talents! I don't think I've ever been disappointed with my nails! read more

Went to Creative Nails today for the first time and had my nails done by Bea. I had her give me a new set of acrylic tips with a thin gel outer coat, and they look awesome! Her work is great, and they it seems like they use good quality products. So, for once, my nails don't have that too-thick (and slightly lumpy) look that seems to go along with getting any kind of gel nails (and she did a decent job trimming my cuticles). I've had my nails done by probably a dozen different women over the past few months and my nails have been adequate looking. Usually I just do walk-ins. Today is the first time I've ever made an appointment for my next visit to make sure I get Bea next time, so that should tell you something about the quality of the work. read more

If I could give a half star I would! I have been here before and enjoyed. This time the worst ever! I made an appointment for a spa pedicure. Well for $25 I got my toes cut and poorly shaped. My legs covered in clay mask and rubbed on my legs like lotion.... then rinsed. Then because I asked why I didn't get my feet scrubbed she put sea salt on for about 20 seconds rinsed and dried. Then painted. At this point I didn't get lotion or massage? Hmmm? Not like my other visits here! So I ask and was told ... "I got mask" ok well let me clarify that was not my request and if I had known I was going to pay more to have two of my favorites steps eliminated to go home with chalky legs and feet I would have passed! I left and payed and tipped! I'm so unhappy that I had to yelp it out! I know it was only $30 but still I wasn't even made to be happy after I asked and if they would have done what I wanted I happily would have payed extra?! Oh well my poor daughter had an appointment there as usual but I was so unhappy she will have to pay for herself or go elsewhere because I will not be giving them my service. I also work near by so I will not recommend them any longer. All I wanted was a normal pedicure simple and consistent to what I had been getting.... this was uncomfortable awkward and just plain BAD! read more

I have been going to Creative Nail and Spa since they opened many, many years ago. We kid around that my mom and I were their first customers. We came in once and never left! The girls have become like family and are always friendly, professional and their work can't be beat! I am a teacher and frequently get gift certificates for mani-pedis from my students. I have tried other places when I have a gift certificate, but I am always disappointed. No one does acrylic and gel nails better than Be, and Hoa is the queen of attacking in-grown toenails. They were also wonderful and patient with my father, who had Alzhiemer's disease and wasn't very cooperative. When he needed his toenails trimmed, I would bring him in and 2 girls would simultaneously give him a pedicure on each foot. It doesn't get any better than that! I now have moved away from the area, but it's worth the drive to get the best manicure and pedicure in San Diego! read more
