I usually have my hair done by Rosie, and she has always done a great job. Last December, Rosie wasn't available to do my hair, so I was referred to Sarah instead. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. I went in for a spiral perm, something I've been getting since I was 13 years old, so I'm very familiar with how my hair normally responds to a perm. After this appointment, my hair was severely overprocessed and damaged. I was also uncomfortable when Sarah made a comment insinuating that I was trying to copy someone else's hairstyle. I have never experienced this kind of damage from having my hair permed before. Months later, I'm still working on getting my hair healthy again, and it has not fully recovered. I'm sharing this because I think it's important to be careful about who you trust with your hair, especially when chemical processing is involved. I can only speak about my own experience, but unfortunately, mine was very disappointing.

Dalia has such a sweet and professional disposition. I asked a few questions about her process, and she was attentive, engaging, knowledgeable, and receptive to feedback and opinions/desired outcome. One of my favorite things about this establishment aside from Dalia's skill set, was that each person who worked there appeared to be very helpful or supportive of each other. Which not only ensures each client leaves completely satisfied - but experience and skills are being transferred among each other. Her space is through the salon back down the hallway in a private room. Sandra provided an extremely comfortable space with a friendly bedside manner and very gentle handling of my eyes and eyelashes notably, also her bed/table that you lay on is very comfortable. During my service, my eyes unexpectedly watered, and she was able to fix right away! I can tell she truly cares about her craft and that her clients are extremely happy with the service - she offered if anything needed to be adjusted. Made an appointment with Kristy to get my mid back length locks taken short to an A line bob…read more First off, it was super easy to find (they even have a sign on the stairs) and I was welcomed the moment I stepped in to the super cute salon. Kristy listened to my concerns about my hair being wavy underneath, and how it was likely to shrink once I wash it and style it as normal, so she agreed to cut it a bit longer in the back so it wouldn't be too short once it started to curl. She gave me exactly what I wanted and I absolutely love it! Her and her daughter are super fun to talk to and had me laughing most of the time. I highly recommend the loft if you want to be surrounded by good people while you get an awesome haircut!!
