They also just won the Best of Springfield 2023 award! Well deserved. Please keep in mind the reviews you read are about misbehaving children who hurt other children. I do not want my daughter getting hurt by troubled children and SNSP protects my daughter.

My husband and I do not qualify for federal assistance but were told here that we would have to participate in the federally funded food plan once our kiddo is 12 months old. I have no issues with this except for that it was a hard rule. They stated there was no flexibility unless it was a doctor-documented food allergy. In my personal opinion, every child progresses at a different rate and shouldn't have to be blocked by a hard rule to follow. I also feel that if I want to bring my own food I should be allowed to do that. I know what my child will eat or what they have been favoriting, or possibly what hasn't been sitting well. It should be between myself, my husband, and our pediatrician to decide how to progress with table/solid food. I thought this rule was a little odd and tried to ignore it. I couldn't get past it and checked around with about 10 different people including two directors of other programs. Every single person thought the same thing as myself and my husband, that this was a very odd rule. We were told it was because we can't have some parents bringing McDonald's or Chick-fil-A for their kiddo and other kids don't get that. That happens at school k-12 and they have federal food programs so I don't agree that that is the only reason they make this a hard rule. I believe it is because they rely on the federal funds and that is a requirement to receive that money. Two of the directors or other programs I spoke to are both child care centers not related to a church or religious organization. Things I did like: * The security is top-notch if followed. I did observe one of the employee's keys in her code in plain view of me to open the door. * The rooms looked cozy and well-maintained. * Their emergency procedures are well thought out and practiced. * They have an interactive app for parents. * They accept credit card payments, which apparently isn't something all places do. * Teachers and Staff seemed to be very kind and knowledgeable. If the forced rule of their menu doesn't bother you this is a great place to take your kiddo. My original post was deleted, fortunately, I screen shot it to share with my husband. It doesn't seem fair or good business practice to me (and we own a small business) to delete honest and partially positive reviews. I also don't feel as though I was harsh or negative. Just honest with something I thought to be odd.

Missouri State University sucks when it comes to help international students solve their problems…read more I have been an International Student here for so long and they have never helped me solving any situation. I tried to talk to many people in order to solve my situation but none helped me at all. I went to the presidents office and I was not able to talk to him because he does not take care of students unless you fill out a form online. So do not waste your time trying to go to his office to talk to him and neither to try to find a solution because the lady at front desk told me that he doesn't do that. Supposedly you have to talk to other people to find a solution to your problems but none does it and neither the president Clif. Whenever you call to the international department none is available to help you because they are either out of the office or because they only work from home, except for the front desk students that answer the phone but can not give you a solution for anything. They are all pointing fingers instead of helping you find a solution to your problems. Just let me mention that I have been having this problem going on for 2 semesters so I don't know why they are so negligent i don't know if I should call it an act of racism or discrimination. WORST UNIVERSITY I HAVE EVER BEEN AND SO FREAKING EXPENSIVE.

Cris had shared with us her incredible experience at LSP with her daughters, and I crossed my fingers. LSP on Chestnut literally saved us from a terrible situation and had a spot for Evelyn starting in three days. But LSP was so much more than daycare. It was a place where Evelyn was loved and cared for by people who really loved her. In the six months she's been at LSP, she's thrived. She's grown her vocabulary, developed so many skills, became obsessed with babies and purses and uses sign language at home. Every scratch, reported. Every snack, documented. Every activity, photographed. The communication eases my anxiety every single day as a working mama. But she has received the best childcare experience at LSP. Ms. Julie, Ms. Anna, Ms. Ashley, Ms. Claudette, Ms. Stephanie, they've all be wonderful and cared so deeply about our daughter's health and happiness. I'm so thankful for LSP!

This place is really top-notch!

This center should be shut down by OSSE immediately. Giving 1 star is too much and untruthful. Let…read moreme start off by saying that no child should ever be told to shut up, should be eating noodles from 7/11 as well as hotdogs, drinking 2% milk instead of whole milk to cut corners, sharing reused paper plates and paper cups (HELLO ALLERGIES), sitting on a floor (dirty carpet) that was infested with mice droppings and roaches (until OSSE shut them down almost a year ago and forced them become compliant), be exposed to marijuana being smoked on the third floor passing through the vents reaching the floors where the children are that is illegally being rented out against OSSE regulations and awareness, etc. The owner is HARDLY THERE, GREEDY, and NOT CONCERNED about the children's well being overall. The center is only cleaned when reported to OSSE and threatened. The owner does not abide by OSSE rules and regulations by informing the parents why the center is closed when it happens, rather lying by saying its a cleaning day. The owner terminates any parent that she feels will report her to OSSE via text (How can a child be terminated that has not been present in weeks?) Additionally, most of the staff are NOT legally trained or certified (paid American staff to pass test for foreign staffers) just helpers that are NOT happy nor professional. There is always new staff and a high turnover rate sadly. The American staffers bump heads with the other staffers and constantly complain about how nasty they are and how they don't understand simple directions which is alarming. Parents that choose for their children to wear cloth diapers are discussed openly and called trifling. Children with same sex parents are discussed and avoided by some staff due to religious beliefs, a HUGE DISGRACE AND TOTAL DISCRIMINATION. Parents that pay out of pocket are treated like royalty but sadly have the truth hidden from them the most. Children's diets are not respected and no staffer is aware of the children's allergies. SCARY!!!!! I have asked who can administer medication if needed and was lied to. If you desire a horrible babysitting center, so be it. Your child will not learn, and will do the bare minimum in regards to academic growth. There are hardly any school supplies or educational toys, let alone educational activities in place for the children sadly. Please do not punish your child or be fooled as I was, in addition to the many parents who pulled their children from this place. If you do decide to give this place a chance, please inquire about the credentialing of the staff (definitely new faces), how often the place is cleaned and pay attention, the diet of your child; ask for a monthly menu and be sure it is not a lie, and drop in as often as possible- PLEASE!!!! Best of luck!!!
