On our latest visit we were looking for some small plants to put in a decorative planter in our kitchen and we had fun browsing the store before settling on a few cute plants in the indoor section. The staff here is always friendly and helpful and the plants we've purchased here have been healthy and we have had many for multiple years. The pricing is also comparable to other places we've purchased plants and supplies for, so it's always a solid spot to shop.

It's really nice to just wander around and observe the beautiful plants and specialty trees. They currently have a sale featuring 50% off roses, which are in full bloom at the moment. In addition patio furniture is also 50% off. The mature trees range from hundreds to thousands of dollars depending upon cultivar, rarity, or variegation of foliage. This is a great place for large landscape specimens. You won't find six packs of annuals, they really specialize in trees, shrubs and perennials. The service was friendly, although I didn't buy anything this time, I was warmly greeted, and offered help to find anything. I'll be back once we finish our hardscaping and are ready for feature plants and large trees.

I specifically ordered 1/3 cobble rock based on what I saw there. However, when the truck delivered the material and dumped it in my driveway, I realized the rocks were much smaller and did not match what I had originally selected at the shop. Unfortunately, I didn't check the load in the truck before it was dumped. At that point, I had no real option to refuse the delivery since the rocks were already blocking both my driveway and part of the road. I was forced to move forward and use the material in my landscaping. This experience felt very misleading, and I'm disappointed with the lack of consistency and transparency. I would not recommend this store.

So I watched multiple hours of YouTube DYI videos, but most looked DYI. I now see why concrete cast/formed fountains cost over a $1,000. Because most -- certainly the ones Page's sells -- are expertly designed and crafted and will last decades if not a lifetime. So I finally met Margarito (Jose) at Pages. He was fair, straightforward and easy-going. Very unassuming; opposite of pushy. He is also a great technician who provided expert delivery and installation. Heads and shoulders above everyone else I had been dealing with the last few months. Sounds like ad copy, but no kidding. I can't recommend Jose and Pages enough.
