AMAZING!!! Where to start!? She went ABOVE AND BEYOND getting flowers to my grandmother for me. I live far and she is not well. She showed so much compassion, offered to print pictures so my grandma would recognize who it was from. She even took pictures of my grandma getting the flowers and sent them to me. I cried a number of times through all this. Just SO grateful for the care shown. She made that so special for both me and my grandmother. We needed flowers for my mother in-laws funeral. After trying to contact 3 other florist that were closed because of vacation we contacted Orangevale Florist who was able to meet with us on a Saturday. We are from out-of-state so basically at the mercy of the internet for local florist not knowing which ones were good and bad. Moms funeral was at 9 AM on Tuesday. We ordered 2 sprays over $800!!!!! We were told, and my receipt shows it as proof, that our flowers would be delivered to the funeral home Monday afternoon. We get to the funeral home at 8 a.m. and our flowers were not there!!!!! There were 3 of us plus the funeral home trying to contact Orangevale Florist. We finally reached them 15 minutes prior to the service and was told that the flowers are on their way, the driver is speeding to get there and the lady didn't know they were to be delivered Monday because she was out on Saturday and it was marked for Tuesday delivery. The flowers showed up 5 minutes before the service!!!! So here I am with the funeral home people infront of friends and family rearranging the flower arrangements for my dear mother in-law. I do not recommend this florist at all because they dropped the ball and made more stress for the family as we were already sad and stressed as it was with having to lay our dear mother to rest. They literally dropped the ball. I asked for some sort of accomodation and have yet to hear what that would be if any. read more

I wanted to send my grandma a "just because" bouquet of flowers, so I ordered online for a delivery to be made. I selected the following business day, but then after seeing my grandma as out of town, I called to change the delivery date. They were perfectly easy to work with, and happily changed the delivery date. This morning, I received a Facebook message thanking me for the "most beautiful bouquet of flowers!" Super easy check out and picking what arrangement I wanted, pricing isn't bad either. Was the most reasonable prices in that area compared to other flower shops. Made the order on Sunday night and by Monday midday the flowers were delivered. The person delivering the flowers was having trouble dropping flowers off due to person not answering the door, he stayed on the phone with me until my friend answered and received the flowers herself. The delivery man also offered to come back at a later time if my friend didn't answer the door since the weather would cause flower arrangement to not look so pretty if left outside for a while. I give this florist no stars. The owner LITERALLY assaulted me after we questioned an order that was not delivered. SHE APPROACHED ME AND SARTED SHOVING ME. They hung up on my daughter and granddaughter when they both called at separate times and were wanting to pick up the order. I am in sales myself and could not believe that this lady was shoving me out the door when I just questioned the order. They will be reported as well to the Better Business Bureau and to the landlord. I was compelled to write this review after reading some of the negative comments posted about this business. I think Susan is doing an excellent job trying to maintain her business in this challenging economy. Her business hours fluctuate, because she personally makes the floral arrangements, runs the cash register, answers phone calls, greets walk-in customers, and handles all local deliveries. I often will stop by her shop to pick up fresh flowers, because she always has a lovely assortment in her walk-in cooler. She also has beautiful hand-painted vases for sale in her shop that are designed by a local artist. Our family uses Susan whenever there is a school dance that requires corsages, because she has an amazing gift for coordinating colored ribbons and flowers, so that both the corsage and boutonnière will match. I found this florist on the Internet when sending flowers to a dear friend for a solemn occasion. I chose a beautiful bouquet in a round glass vase. The delivery man called me when he dropped off the flowers and alerted me that my friend was not home. I called a neighbor and asked them to please put the flowers in the fridge as my friend was to be gone a few days. I was unaware that in the mean time another friend stopped by and put the flowers in the fridge. All the neighbors were now working to solve the great missing flower caper!! As it did not occur to any one to search for the missing flowers in the house. I called the florist regarding the missing flowers who was incredibly helpful ( even answering after hours). After a great search they agreed to re-deliver the flowers. As I live in Montana and could not help search for the delivery or visit the store in person I was thankful the owners were so helpful. I was so embarrassed to have caused all the fuss when everything had been handled perfectly the first time. But happy to report that good neighbors and good businesses still exist!
