Through DoorDash, I ordered TWO $100-plus orders from here for mother's day, and both orders were horrible and incorrect. Including pics of both orders and the pic of what I thought I was ordering, as advertised online. 1. I paid extra for balloons on both orders that didn't come. 2. One order was a small orchid plant when I paid for a $100-plus large bouquet (supposed to be a large purple bouquet advertised as having an iridescent vase, and it was a tiny orchid plant in a box that had a handwritten word "mom" on it) 3. The other was a small bouquet of half-wilted roses, two carnations, and one old sunflower that also cost $100 and supposed to be Teleflora's Rosy Pink Bouquet. It wasn't that at all. The bow looked like it was tied by a nonprofessional child. A real shame to be disappointed on Mothers Day when spending over $200 for my mother and 93 year old grandmother. Absolutely terrible customer service. He delivered the wrong flowers a day late for Mother's Day. When I called him about it, he was very mad and hung up. He refused to give a refund unless my mother returned the (already wrong) flowers sent to her house. I told him we would do that, and then he started yelling. He threatened my family as well. TLDR; we tried to fix our flower order and were instead screamed at by the man on the phone. I thought there was a mix up with my order because what I received was completely different from what I ordered (photos attached), but I'm under the impression now that it was done on purpose. I ordered some mother's day flowers and received an entirely different flower. We spent $80+ for an entire bouquet and instead got this. I tried calling to see if there was a mix up in orders, but all of my calls kept getting rejected. I then called through my boyfriends phone, only to have them immediately pick up. I tried to explain what happened and the man on the other side said "WE ARENT TAKING ORDERS OVER THE PHONE" and then hung up on me. I tried calling again because I just wanted to clarify if the order was wrong, but they kept rejecting my calls. My little sister then called and the man answered again and screamed at my sister for also trying to get some clarity on what happened. We just wanted to make sure that there wasn't a mix up with the order and instead were met with hostility and an extremely rude man. I wish I could give 0 stars. read more

Wow wow wow ... we ordered a beautiful bouquet of peach roses and flowers for my nieces birthday ... (I'm going to post the photo) and even ordered the "deluxe" and what we got looked like they went in their backyard and put all of their weeds in it ... When we called the person on the phone was combative and said the reason why it's bad is because we used a Postmates driver ... so I asked him if the drivers went in and did the arrangements themselves ... it's like saying it's the drivers fault if you order from a restaurant and your food order is wrong, the driver didn't go in the kitchen and cook it! This place is the absolute worst. If I could give them zero stars I would. Please dont waste your money here because nothing looks as advertised. A placed a last minute order on Mother's Day and when I got to the store it was completely disorganized and I couldnt even tell who was working there. I told one of the girls there that I had an uber pick up order and she directed me to a man who was sitting on a chair outside and he told me to show him the order, then began to snatch my phone right out of my hand, and afterwards dropped it right on the floor. Then pointed to a table with dingy arrangements and started handing me flowers that didnt look a thing like the picture I ordered, claiming that this is Mother's Day and it always happens and that they dont have what I ordered in stock. My husband and I just moved to Plainview mid pandemic, and have been going out of our way to support as many small/local businesses as we can. I don't typically like red roses, and he asked me weeks ago what kind of flowers l'd like for Valentines Day. Also, our first Valentine's Day as husband and wife :). I sent him a photo of a beautiful pink and white arrangement and said something along those lines, not necessarily as large, but in that ball park. He found this flower shop last week and spoke with someone over the phone who directed him to "just come in" this weekend; so he drove out yesterday to show the owner the photo of what I wanted, was assured it was no problem, and took a $100 payment ahead of time. Understandable. My husband said he would pick up at 10:00 this morning. When my husband picked up the flowers today, the owner had no idea what he was talking about and said, "picking up a dozen red?" To which my husband responded, no sir, I'm picking up the white and pink arrangement we spoke about yesterday. Still with no idea- the owner threw some random flowers in a vase and handed these to my husband, who was in utter shock and disappointment- then proceeded to hand him a small box of candy to "make up for the trouble" I work in the wedding industry. I work with florists all the time. I also understand how hectic valentines days can be. I know how overwhelming it is on major holidays and even for special events. But this was simply inexcusable. For 5 roses, a dozen purple filler flowers and some babies breath with greens shoved in a red vase- this shop had NERVE charging $100 for what we received. After reading more reviews, this seems to be their scam -- they behave in person, but the second you order a delivery for someone else (funerals, hospitals, gifts, etc.) they swap in the cheapest flowers they can get away with and hope you never find out. I find it so disheartening that on a special day like Mother's Day that they would treat customers like this. I spent about $300 through Uber and they sent an orchid. Yes, an orchid. They purposely sent the wrong item and had the audacity to blame it on Uber. They are playing around with uber drivers. I am not going to get my full refund back because they keep the commission. This is a SCAM. When I spoke with the Uber driver, he stated that they have been doing this all morning to uber customers. The owner was disgusting and disrespectful. This kind of service is unacceptable, especially for a business that is supposed to be built on trust and meaningful moments. This place is a very small shop. Almost mom and pop. Yet they have a website which allows ordering online. I reviewed the website to get ideas on what to request before heading to the shop to make a purchase. Upon entering the shop I was greeted by a pleasant but relatively soft spoken young man. Difficult to tell if he was the owner or the lady in the back. First impression upon entering the shop was one of slight disappointment. The in stock selection of flowers seemed very limited. Had I placed an order online I have a hard time believing they would be able to fill it. Due to the lack of selection I did purchase 2 dozen roses at a fair price considering they are from a florist and not ShopRite. The roses I purchased seemed to be the last of their stock. The gentleman asked if they were acceptable and that they were. Not at the prime were these flowers but looked fair enough to purchase. I could not have said I want others because there was clearly no inventory. Maybe my timing was simply poor. These shop has potential. I will try them again but if the experience is identical to the first I will not conduct business with them. Never ordered flowers -- BUT beware if you request a "Gourmet Basket"! I asked in advance if it WAS possible and if it could be delivered by Noon the same day. I wish the answer would have been NO! Not only did the basket arrive 45 minutes late, it was literally shopped for, I would say with items from a discount supermarket type store. The items in it were unbelievable -- just a few -- Chicken flavored boxed crackers, Kraft shredded Mexican cheese, a can of some type of spam loaf -- off brand Vanilla Wafers, just to name a few things aside from a few small apples, a pineapple and a banana and bunch of other off brand items! Certainly not worth the price I requested and in NO way, shape or form was it "Gourmet"! It was actually embarrassing to give to the recipient. My mistake... I requested some sort of refund/credit back and was offered a bouquet of flowers and told the basket was fantastic! .. it was laughable and wish we would have taken a picture... very disappointed! read more

A bunch of scammers. DESERVES O STARS. I ordered on Uber twice and received the wrong order twice. No one answers the phone so I had to go there and complain. Over $300 worth of flowers and left again without my flowers. I now have to wait for Uber to send me back my money, but now I will not receive the full payment I had originally paid. They KNOW what they're doing. They want to keep the commission that was made on orders. I told them that they are doing this to a bunch of people and now they are writing "good" reviews THAT ARE COMPLETE LIES. My Uber driver called me and tried to cancel the order for me because they didn't have the correct order for me and they were denying him. So these people are scamming to get money and ruin mother's day for people. Please do not come here. I will never understand how can someone do this when they say "20 years of business". Run far away. If you scroll, you can see they did this to other people as well. It is so upsetting that this has been going on for years. If this is how one runs a business, one should be ashamed. Terrible florist. They delivered super a poor quality arrangement to a funeral home in Kingspark for me. I ordered and paid for two arrangements, paid over $570.00 and one was left broken on the front steps of the funeral parlor. No stands were sent with the arrangements so the funeral home had to 'borrow' a stand from another wake that had taken place earlier. The cross of flowers that I ordered was to be 39" in height per the person I ordered from...it was 23" in total and looked pitiful. Others had ordered from other florists, spend less and had gorgeous large arrangements. It was embarrassing and infuriating. DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST! They told me it was full and that the flowers were fresh and vibrant. Because I spent over a certain amount for the arrangement, a small box of chocolates was included as a promotion. Unfortunately, the shop forgot to deliver the chocolates when they delivered the flowers. However, when I called the shop, the very pleasant individual I spoke to apologized and promised to deliver them personally, which he did. All's well that ends well.
