We recently bought 2 new sofas from this store. It was very hard choosing what we liked, we…read moreliterally sat on every sofa they had. I fell in love with a particular fabric so had to choose a sofa that fabric went with (or else the cost would have been monumental) then choose another sofa and fabric to match the printed fabric I loved so much. We had the help of Valerie, their store designer. She came to our house took measurements, and helped us choose what would go together, including an area rug. Our salesman, Chase, was extremely nice and patient with us. The only part of this journey to buy our last new family room furniture (we're seniors) were the people we worked with. They earned the 2 stars. So the wait for the new furniture began. I knew it would take time since it was custom, but the 8 weeks we were told turned into 12. We were told it was because they were having trouble getting the rug, they were sold out. Finally the call came to set a date to deliver the furniture. In came the solid colored sofa, the color looked off to me, but I could have been wrong, it had been so long since I'd seen it, we paid an extra $500 for better cushions, firmer, but when I sat on them, I just sunk, so did every one else. Next the sofa recliner came in with my beloved pattern on it. I sat on it, the seat was very hard, I could not pull the handle for the recliner and it was a glider recliner (which we were never told about) and I cannot push it into a reclining position. Next came the rug. I only saw a picture of it on their computer, it looked nice so we ordered it. As the movers placed it on the floor I noticed immediately it was the wrong size. I ordered the 5x7 but got a 9 x12. The mover said to keep it for now but call the store and tell them it's wrong. Also, the color was much lighter than what the computer showed. I have 2 small dogs and worried about them getting it dirty when they come in from outside. I called the store right away and was told to call back when Chase was working. I left a message for him but he hadn't returned the call so we drove to the store. We spoke with Chase, told him how unhappy we were with the furniture and that we wanted the size rug we ordered and wanted to return the recliner sofa because it was so uncomfortable and I can't even use it properly. Chase assured us he would speak with his manager and get back to us. We ended up having to call him back 3 days later to see what was going on. Well nothing was. Manager refused to take the sofa back and come to find out they no longer make the rug we ordered, but instead of telling us this so we could choose something else, they sent the large one assuming we'd be happy with that. WRONG! Long story short, and over $4000 of our retirement money later, we are stuck with a sofa we both hate, an oversized rug (they did say we could exchange it, but who wants to wait another 8-12 weeks for a rug) I'll just keep this one. The other sofa is fine, the cushions are correct but are not firm at all (don't waste your money on this if you buy from La-Z-Boy, it's a rip off) I would think for the money spent they would want their customers happy, but that is not the case. After this experience I neither recommend nor will ever purchase from La-Z-Boy again.

Recently contacted Lazy Boy to purchase a replacement air bladder for my supreme comfort sleep…read moresofa. Once they finally ran me in circles to locate the ACK number, I was told the air bladder could be purchased for $536.00 but NO WARRANTY on how long it would last. This would be the 4th air bladder since 2012 on a sofa that does not get much sleeper use. The last air bladder purchased 4 years ago cost $223.00 and no reason was given why it now costs so much more now. While the vinyl air bladder is of heavy material, the seams are prone to failure and are impossible to patch. I can buy a camping type air mattress for $35 and it has a 1 year warranty. So do the math, I can buy 15 of these for the price of 1 Lazy Boy air bladder! Don't buy a Lazy Boy Supreme Comfort sleep sofa because in less than 10 years you will pay more for replacement air bladders than the original cost of the entire sofa!
