The studio offers a wide range of styles--hip hop, K-pop, jazz, contemporary, samba, and more--with classes tailored for beginners through advanced dancers. Teachers thoughtfully adapt choreography to match each group's level, ensuring everyone can learn and grow. It's inspiring to see moms return to dance after having a baby, and friends who've met their partners here. The studio staff are responsive and helpful--just call and they'll get back to you promptly. If you're unsure, you're welcome to watch a class or try different styles until you find your fit. Ariel hosts an annual adult showcase and smaller in-studio performances throughout the year, giving dancers a chance to share their progress with friends, family, and colleagues. The shows are lively and fun, and the sense of community makes every achievement feel special. The studio also offers kids dance classes, and hosts kids show as well. Come join us--you'll find both skill and connection at Ariel Dance Studio!

This studio has challenged her and she has grown so much to be a better dancer and person. I wish I had moved her to this studio sooner. The teachers and staff are all wonderful. If there is any concerns addressed they do their best to resolve it. When greeting on phone, I believe they should say their name first so It sounds more welcoming. And not so stiff sounding. Especially, since the person on the other end of phone probably doesn't know how sweet the office Staff are.

I have never more happy about a decision I've made. Not only has she drastically improved in just two years, getting a title, scholarships and awards to boot. But, more importantly we've found a new incredible family. These kids and parents all truly care about each other and it's so beautiful. No drama just unbelievable support and great vibes. The teachers are the most amazing humans who truly care about your kid and have a great balance of cheering them on and guiding them to their best potential. I adore every single one of them. They have given my daughter (and I) so much love and support that I'm forever grateful for. I also take their adult classes which has been the most amazing experience for me as well. Yes, it's great fitness and fun. But it has also honestly been such a light in my life on my darkest days and been so great for my mental health. You get the same incredible teachers and amazing supportive community. Who knew one trial class could change our lives so much for the better? Forever grateful for our new family!

From the moment we walked in, it was clear how supportive, organized, and professional the staff and instructors are. The instructors do an incredible job of balancing discipline with encouragement, helping the kids build confidence while genuinely enjoying what they're doing. Watching my daughter perform, I could clearly see how much growth she's had--not just in technique, but in confidence and stage presence--and that credit absolutely goes to the training and care she receives here. The recital itself was well run, thoughtfully choreographed, and showcased each dancer in a way that made them feel proud of their hard work. As a parent, it means a lot to see a studio that truly invests in its students. I'm very grateful to the entire Dance Affair team for creating such a positive environment and for helping my daughter shine on stage. Highly recommend to any parent looking for quality dance instruction and a supportive community.

We returned to Dance Affair because it is the exact opposite! We get personalized feedback and recommendations on what next level classes would be. I get a feeling that the owners and teachers really care about my daughter's development. My daughter now wants to take more and more classes after being somewhat turned off dance at the other studio.

Another one of my favorite pole studio! Sedusa is unique from other studios. No pole sharing,…read moreslinky, practice in heels, & female only. I am so happy to hear that they'll still be running! There is going to be a change in ownership. This is where you channel your inner sensual goddess & are free to be slinky. I love that all the classes are taken in heels, however, you do not have to wear them if learning tricks - your choice. You get your individual pole which is a major plus. No sharing so you have the pole all to yourself & you don't have to time your breaks or attempts before switching off. Two different sized floor to ceiling poles & two rooms to take classes. They have a variety of amazing classes and they incorporate new classes and work shops monthly. Thank you to Mayari, Erica, & Aspara Sin for being amazing instructors ! I love Mayari's stiletto flow and Erica's L2 classes. Stiletto flow is all about pole flow, edge work and heel techniques. You get a combo to dance with and are encouraged to freestyle at the end. Erica is amazing - she breaks it down to the basics and helps you get to your pole potential. She gives different methods, modifications, and entries for individuals & ensures safety going up and down the pole. Aspara Sin's inverted you helps you with invert conditioning and getting to your invert goals. I also taken L2 classes where she subbed. They are such great instructors and help you reach your goals wherever your progress is at. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and encouraging. They really take the time to warm up our bodies to ensure we are safe to go on the pole. I tried Xinnia's booty bouncing basics and it was so fun. I wish I was able to take more. The studio is dark and you're free to dress in any attire that you're comfortable in. There's an app where you sign up for classes and buy credits. Price is similar to other studios however, you have your own pole so definitely worth it. One thing I wish can be improved is the communications with email, sometimes will get slow or no responses. But otherwise love love love Sedusa !

I was already pretty good at movement then being a Qigong teacher, and acupuncturist, but I also wanted to explore my feminine divine, and flow even better in dynamic fluid movement. After I saw the movie "Rock of Ages", my feed keep showing Sedusa Studio in Campbell, and the Groupon ad brought me in. Carol was the owner, and her patience and sultry voice helped relax my fears and discomfort, so yes by the end of the Intro to Pole class, I felt more competent in this new movement form and sensual, accepting of and excited to explore this more feminine movement style. The main studio is large and inviting with low lighting, feels safe for women to explore being sensual, with other like minded women in the community. The strength of this studio is that it is women focused, make it a supportive environment and community. Fast forward 11 years, where I've taken weekly conditioning "Slinking Strength" pole classes, and other group pole dance classes. Have performed as a group with other students, in the internal dance showcases. While the studio has changed hands to Felicia, who kept it going through COVID, and some teacher changes over the years, the essential vibe of the studio is the same and these days unique in the pole dance community with other studios opening in the area. There are some really good teachers (Erica, Mz. K, Sade, Laarni, etc) at Sedusa that keep the place running, who helped further my self-healing and poling journey so that I was able to to dance my first solo for the showcase last Fall. Finally also competed in the Pole Sport Organization (PSO) Golden Gate Competition March 2025, and got a Silver Medal representing the studio. Thank you, Sedusa and the fabulous staff and community for making personal dance dreams come true. Highly recommend to get stronger and sexier with better body positive image. If you've any personal doubts, just start now and you won't regret it!

They are so friendly and knowledgeable. They can explain alignment and movement down to the muscles and bones, e.g., pelvis and tail bone alignment. No other teachers had explained it so thoroughly. Their barre and combinations are fun and challenging enough so that every time I feel I learned something new. I usually take Monday drop-in adult class with Laura and Friday class with Marcie. Marcie and Laura helped correct my problem of overarching my chest effectively. Before, other teachers had mentioned I overarched. But I didn't quite know to what extent or how to do it otherwise. I see it's a common issue with many amateur dancers because everyone wants to try it hard and be expressive. Marcie padded my stiff chest. Laura corrected me with friendly smiles. I learned from them that I should brace my rib cage instead of opening my chest, but broaden my upper back and collar bone instead. Marcie also showed how to relax my face and neck and use breathing effectively with every plie. These all tremendously helped my alignment and balance so that I have become stronger for so many moves including arabesque and develope. I used to get back pain from overarching and pinching my back muscle. Not anymore. What a life saver! I feel I am a stronger and more elegant amateur ballet dancer now. It's definitely hard to seriously tackle ballet at my age of 50. But I feel I gradually improve. I even started to choreograph my own solo to music I love. Ballet nurtures my mind and also exercises my body. I want to keep dancing it for the rest of my long life.

Second: smartphones have ruined photography, and it's getting increasingly more difficult to find gear, accessories, peripherals... but San Jose Camera has always had what I've looked for (except my fav Canon lens, no longer manufactured). The people here are consummate professionals, exceptionally well-versed and experienced photographers. They know their stuff: I've had questions about Canon, Minolta, Nikon, and Hasselblad cameras and they knew the answer without looking it up. (Price of gear is the only exception.) Sort of an old-school type, I still dabble in film photography, especially in astrophotography, and they've had excellent recommendations for what I'm looking for in film, even discussed some ideas I hadn't considered. I used to spend a few hours a week here... purchased a number of lenses here and taken a number of classes.
