The espresso was a little bitter - maybe burnt or shocked. The macaron was gorgeous, but didn't have a macaron taste or texture. It was hard like cookie. A macaron should be light and airy, and the shell should almost collapse under a bite. I had to chomp through this one. I am not sure if it was stale, a bad batch, or if their "macarons" are just "macaron shaped cookies" by design.

I've had a Moroccan Tea, a Chai Tea, an Oolong Tea, Farmhouse Chicken Salad and Pimiento Cheese that they sell in containers from inside the case, too many different kinds of cookies than I dare to admit, and a few slices of their standard cheesecake. The cookies are amazing. But it's the cheesecake that keeps me coming back. The cheesecake and the chicken salad actually. Both are divine but the cheesecake is the best I've ever had and I highly recommend it. Service behind the counter is always pleasant, professional and speedy. Our crew settled for a peach milkshake, two kids scoops in a cup, and a kids scoop in a cone. I was impressed by how much ice cream they put in the kids cone for my youngest little. Their eyes lit up as they were handed their cone, and by the time we left, only half had been eaten. I got the mint chip in a cup, which was plenty for me after the large meal I had just eaten.
