We just had a brand new fence put in by Redstone Fencing that cost over $7,000. Several of the posts have major cracks in them and at least 30 of the pickets are split right where they were attached. This is not our first fence, we understand some splitting is normal, but this beyond that. We emailed pictures of the issues to them with only a basic response of we'll give you some pickets. They denied any responsibility and never even came back to look at the posts. They were polite, just not at all helpful. If you're making this type of an investment in a relatively small fence, I would definitely look for a more experienced company. Redstone puts all the right sayings on their web page about building relationships, being pros, etc.... It's just not true. There are several other fence company choices, choose one of them.

The old fence was removed and replaced in a single day, which was worrying. Within days the fence pickets were warping. One of the owners of Ruco came out and took photos, sent them to the lead installer. Comments were made about how these materials didn't seem to compare to what they normally see. Ruco scheduled his team to come repair. The attitude of the lead installer was poor, defensive. After picking out many boards that needed to be replaced, they ran out of nails. I supplied their team with coils of nails for their nail guns so they could attempt to finish the work, they ran out of pickets. After leaving I called Ruco back, asking for further action. When the owner came out we looked at the fence again, pointing out a few different things such as an entire panel that was bowed "what do you want me to do, replace the entire section?" I shouldn't have to ask, you should install a quality product. We scheduled another service, the owner came out instead of his team with a stack of boards and a hammer fit for a grade schooler. I set up my own chop saw and cut boards for him, sad. There is more sadness to the story, that I don't have the urge to keep this going. After multiple attempts to erect a visibly appealing fence, we all gave up. Ruco wants to get in and out, quantity over quantity. Poor product No craftsmanship Bad service Over priced

After we paid them half to get started as agreed, things went downhill. They didn't show up as scheduled and over the last TWELVE WEEKS Mike Shannon has assured us that he was coming out/sending two crews/sending three crews/be there rain or shine/be there first thing in the morning, etc. You name it, he said it and then never did it. He did not use any cement in the post holes and did a terrible job securing the fence boards. He said in his contract that he would use screws but he did not. He barely used any nails. I thought that was it, taken care of....NOPE Approximately ten days later a crew from TVF was out at my house to put up a fence, I stopped them just in time before they took down my fence I just had put up, I thought that was also the end of it....NOPE I received a bill in the mail from TVF stating that i owed them 25% of the cost of the original fence do to not canceling. I spoke on the phone with one of the owners who stated that I never called and cancelled and was unwilling to hear anything I had to say. The owner took me to small claims court witch took almost a year due to me being in Afghanistan. I spoke with a mediator and the Owner (Mr. Owens) to settle this, and he was persistent that since they had to load the truck and drive to my location and go back to unload the truck then I was going to be charged, he also stated I never called. I showed the owner the phone records from W.O.W. with the date and time and the duration of the call on the date I told him, Mr. Owens then changed his statement and said that it was a contract issue. I thought that was funny since I had the proof that I called but his company dropped the ball and he wants to push it onto me. After small claims court, (which I won, but now he is taking me to civil court) I told Mr. Owens that its sad to see a owner not care that one of his employees took my message and didn't pass it along but he his going after me. He came on time within a 2-hour window. He verified the dimensions of our bathroom and then laid it out for us in advance, patiently and carefully listening to us and answering. He emphasized safety, informing us of dust from drywall being cut as the old bath got removed and new shower put in place. He carefully closed the door to cut down on cutting noise. Any time we had a question he was bright and cheerful and glad to answer. He worked hard and was determined to finish the job in one day. A couple of issues did come up: he analyzed, checked with the home office, and had a manager come as a second pair of eyes to give his opinion. I love that: it is professional to collaborate, and emphasized they're really doing their best for the customer. Salesman Charles laid everything out, repeated and clarified and answered every question from the customer. He explained that Bath Fitter did their own manufacturing, tailored and cut to the sizes of our particular bathroom. And that Bath Fitter owns its own trucks and has its own truckers drive them. This made me feel more assured, because Bath Fitter owned all parts of the process. Who else does manufacturing of its own bath components as well as delivery and install? I have nothing but good things to say about Bath Fitter. Pricing was reasonable for the quality of manufacturing delivered. Install was professional and friendly and overcame issues on the fly, taking extra time and effort to finish in a day. I respect Levi and his manager immensely. Highly highly recommended!
