TL;DR, In 2019 They were fantastic to work with 2021-2022 Are there any humans there anymore?
Prior to COVID, I worked with Creative Circle and they were absolutely incredible. They met everyone they were trying to both place and any company they were trying to fill a position for before they even decided to work with anyone. They reviewed your resume and portfolio giving solid advice on how to improve your overall presentation so that you would be able to connect with the right position. So in 2021 when I was back in the market for a job they were the first staffing firm I reached out to help me connect with the right opportunity. On the many times, I have tried to connect with someone I have basically ended up on a mailing list that sends me possible jobs that may or may not be the right fit for me. If I think I am a good candidate I am to email back with my current resume and a link to my portfolio and hope that someone sees it and gets back to me. I have been working with a number of recruiters and staffing firms and I do understand that the creative fields are highly oversaturated. Which makes staffing those positions even more difficult, especially with the level of remote work out there. It's been almost a year since I started trying to work with any recruiter at the firm and have talked on the phone with someone at this office once after quite a few emails trying to get a local human being that could help me. The phone call was cordial but the person I spoke with had to go after only speaking with me for a few minutes and promised a follow-up I never received. I have responded to many of the positions I was very much qualified for but never heard back. I found myself calling them the Cyborg Staffing firm to my husband because it feels like they forgot that the H in HR stands for human. Because it has been so challenging to get in touch with a human there. I don't know what else to do other than share my experience so others won't feel like they are also wasting so much precious time. read more
