Another incredible find, on my day trip to Chillicothe! A store front mixed into the downtown…read moreshops. Lots of space to move around. Cleaning organized fabrics. Walk toward the back corner, you'll see a hodgepodge of clearance cloth. There are finished quilts hanging all around. My eye caught the design of a turquoise/purple/yellow print quilt. If the people here weren't so darn polite and friendly, I would have grabbed that lap-covering and run. So, I decided on the next best think: chat with the lady that works their, and see if she has a kit. Bummer - no kits left. The lady and I talked for a good fifteen minutes. We were able to iron out all the kinks. She offered to make me a kit (she cuts all the fabric!!) using all the original fabrics. If she happens to come short on a print? She'll substitute another print from that line that looks just as good. I was thrilled! For just over $80, I got an awesome quilt kit. The pattern, prints, and colors are just my style! I'm excited to return and pick it up, in a few weeks!

I was charged $125.00. They also charged me another $10.00 for a new thread cutter, (which I did not ask for). When I asked what was the problem with the machine, I was told "nothing". I asked her, "so I paid $135.00 for maintenance on a machine that had nothing wrong with it)? The sales clerk responded with a blank stare, and remained speechless. Sadly, I learned that day I was never a friend or valued customer. I do my shopping online now.

The store is way too small. I've been shopping there for almost 50 years. I am now riding a…read moremobility scooter, a small 3 wheel, and it's very difficult to even get through the front double doors. Once inside, there are racks about 15 inches from the zippers and bias tape. It's this way all the time. There is no way for me to get to these items. The roof leaks constantly. There are often big sheets of plastic funneling water from the ceiling to huge garbage cans between the isles. To the company, I think your faithful customers deserve better. Your employees are excellent and I love the coupons but your store needs to make some major improvements.
