I'm relying on them to keep my son safe. I enjoyed Big Horn. Luckily this is a location (mother in law lives close by) that I frequent so we will definitely be back. We opted for the s'mores before the ride. Great thought but terrible decision. This should be after the ride.Both my son and I had a terrible stomach ache during most of our ride. Only outhouses available. We powered through because there were 2 other people in our group and we won't be party poopers (pun intended.) If I remember correctly, this is inside a park. Budget 30 extra minutes (+ the 30 min early check in) because the line to pay to get into the park can be really long. Hopefully the horse ride and the front check in people are able to talk soon so reservations are allowed to enter for free with your service receipt. We informed them we are beginner riders, 4 out of the 6 of us had never been on a horse and the other two had only been on a horse once many many years ago. I wish they would have told us (before the ride, not as it's happening) what might happen on the ride and how to handle it or how to calm a horse if it gets a little antsy. Over all I would recommend this place, perhaps maybe just ask a million questions before they have you get on and take off.

PUBLIC WARNING -- URGENT BILLING + SAFETY CONCERNS…read more I'm posting this as a serious public warning. Based on my experience, I believe people need to be extremely cautious before giving this business their card information or trusting them with services on-site. Billing behavior that raised major red flags I pulled my bank records and found multiple charges in a single month--in some cases up to four separate charges. When I confronted them and requested a refund for the extra/duplicate charges, I was told they "don't offer refunds" and that I "should have contacted them sooner." That response is unacceptable when the issue is repeated billing. If you're currently a member/customer: check your statements line-by-line. Do not assume you're being charged correctly. Customer service was hostile when questioned When I called customer service and stated I was speaking with my bank about the charges, the representative said: "If you keep mentioning your bank, I'm going to hang up." And then they actually hung up. That is not how an honest business behaves when a customer is trying to resolve what appears to be improper billing. Safety concerns On top of the billing issues, I also have serious safety and professionalism concerns regarding staff and services. The overall experience felt careless and poorly managed--enough that I believe it could put customers at risk. What I'm doing I am formally disputing these charges through my bank and I am filing formal complaints with the county and Colorado health/safety authorities so this business can be reviewed properly. What you should do (protect yourself) Review your bank statements for duplicate/extra charges Save everything: receipts, emails, screenshots, dates/times of calls If charges keep happening, contact your bank immediately and consider a stop payment / new card Document safety issues and report them to the proper local/state channels This is not a minor inconvenience--this is a pattern that customers should be aware of. This was a fun time & an easy to plan event! To make a reservation you need at least eight racers…read more (Spectators can come & watch, no charge.) We had ten racers & a group of spectators. Each racer got two 12 lap races, food & drink, one hour reserved seating, arcade tokens & top finishers got medals - plus all racers got to race together with a reserved time. The price was about $80 per racer. We paid separately for additional food for spectators. These go carts are electric, so no smell & pretty quiet. A few things to note, racers need to be at least 48 inches tall & if you have more than twelve racers you then split into two groups. Also, K1 has an Arrive & Drive option for just racing, it's first come first serve. The day we went was for a birthday. After checking in racers registered & signed waivers after which they got balaclavas & helmets. Instructions were given but it was rather hard to hear. Our racers had a blast...they loved it - it was a great experience. Right after racing our lunch was ready, it was served buffet style. We choose Cheese & Pepperoni Pizzas, BBQ & Buffalo Chicken Wings & soft drinks. There were no salad or vegan options. The pizza was good, however the wings were even better & delicious. Since we were a big group we had a private party room. The only outside food allowed was dessert. Our party ran smoothly, the staff was friendly & very helpful. All in all a great time!
