I've been seeing Dr. Roya for a year and a half now. A few days postpartum, I had a lot of health issues relating to gut, skin, thyroid, +. After visits to my allergist, dermatologist, and even two emergency trips to the ER and URGENT care, no one was able to help me. My problems were either undiagnosed or fed prescriptions and offered random care because I looked like "their other patients." It was frustrating. After a family member had been cured by Dr. Roya years ago, her business was referred to me. Although it being more expensive and not covered by insurance, I was desperate for answers that I'd be waiting years for (after seeing and spending $$$ to an allergist, multiple dermatologists, an ear nose throat specialist, etc). Honestly, I thought Dr. Roya's NAET treatments were weird at first and sometimes I still am confused on how it works, but it's worked for me. I've spent probably close to $20,000 on packages, NAET, blood tests, laser, and acupuncture (and supplements). Expensive, but health is priceless. I've gained my life back. I followed Dr. Roya's advice on diet, blood tests, supplements, and in trusting the process. For half the time, I saw Dr. Jared Taylor at her office for most of my appointments. I was expecting her and requested her to see me at the beginning, but my care was switched to Dr. Taylor without warning. I was upset at this change and without notice, but I honestly ended up really enjoying the care that Dr. Taylor gave me. He was super patient, and took the time to understand my needs/explain things to me; whereas Dr. Roya was a little more rushed. I saw them 3 times a week for a few months, and then 2x, and then 1x. Dr. Taylor left after a few months, so I started seeing Dr. Roya again. I did end up telling her my concerns and how I felt with certain care, and she apologized so I do appreciate that. She has always tried to make things right and wants to make sure her patients are happy, so I do acknowledge that. Now I'm able to take breaks from seeing them as I enjoy my life again, go on trips, or skip if I have work obligations, etc. My health used to have a chokehold on me, on my life, on caring for my new baby. But I now have the FLEXIBILITY to go when I want. For 8 months postpartum, I could barely take care of my son without feeling pain. It took a lot of emotional and mental strength to push through, especially the diet. It took physical strength to push through the pain. But I did it. I still struggle with my skin, and that's understandable knowing how much toxic overload and buildup I've had for years, but Dr. Roya/Create Wellness has given me hope, knowledge, and a future. I feel confident or at least have hope that throughout my next pregnancies, I'll be taken care of. Thank you Dr. Roya for all your help. You know how much you mean to me. My family has been getting treated by Dr. Nikzad for 3 years now. We started when our 4 year old daughter got severe eczema that covered her entire body. When I first went to Dr. Roya in June of 2023 I was feeling extremely low energy, sick with a cold or virus every 3 weeks, very tired, and very stressed. We started seeing Dr. Nikzad and going to Create Wellness for my 2.5 year old daughter's pretty severe eczema in February. I wasn't getting anywhere with her pediatrician, who just kept telling me to apply lotion and would prescribe her more and more steroid creams. However, I just knew there was an imbalance in her body that was causing the flare ups on her skin. It didn't matter how much lotion I put on her, she would just flare up worse a few days later. SCAM in plain day. I first came in contact with "Dr." Roya Nikzad after my mother found her website online, "Create Wellness," which had perfect 5-star reviews. We scheduled an appointment because I struggled with severe brain fog after eating certain foods for years, impairing my quality of life significantly. My first meeting (8/31/2024) with Dr. Roya Nikzad convinced my parents and me that she was a highly knowledgeable doctor that could help me with my ailments. Her large office is located in UC San Diego's extension offices in La Jolla, which further gained our trust. Additionally, she and her staff all wore medical scrubs further selling the idea they were competent medical professionals. She recommended and directed that I take (expensive) blood tests, GI MAP stool tests, and allergy tests (questionable accuracy). There were additional costs for her reviews of the lab work. Accuracy of at-home allergy tests (anyone can order the allergy test Dr. Nikzad ordered): https://www.leehealth.org/health-and-wellness/healthy-news-blog/health-hub/are-at-home-allergy-tests-reliable The staff's elaborate email responses and nutritional advice (Ali Trukken) provided to me, came directly from Chat GPT, word for word! It makes you wonder if this is common practice as they offer "nutrition" services. Ali Trukken is also the primary staff member marketing fraudulent treatments to patients (such as NAET treatment). The most alarming part of my experience with Dr. Nikzad was the treatment she provided, which she deemed absolutely necessary. She insisted my gut problems stemmed from food allergies and could be resolved with "NAET treatments.'' I now know this is completely false after being diagnosed with a digestive condition ( by a medical doctor). During one virtual check-up, I noticed the NAET contract I signed mentioned acupuncture; I told Dr. Nikzad I had already tried acupuncture and received no benefit from it. Dr. Nikzad claimed that the NAET treatment was not acupuncture. However, when I further questioned what would take place during the treatment, she quickly diverted the conversation, claiming she had "20 years of experience" and that I would "feel amazing" after completing the treatment. Being in a very vulnerable state, I signed up for the "protocol." However, I later learned that the treatment was acupuncture (while I hold a glass jar), in addition to other complete nonsense methods involving a massage gun. I signed a contract on the date of the appointment, 1/3/2024. Looking now at the contract, it is very sketchy. Firstly, the "Create Wellness" name or any contact information is not present in the document. There are no details on the contract regarding treatment, and the signature, signed by Megan Dunphy, is just an "M" and a scribble line. The "treatment" was performed by an acupuncturist (Masha Iofee on 1/3/2024) who admitted she did not to know anything about the allergy treatment. After the session with the acupuncturist, I asked Dr. Nikzad once again about the treatment's functionality, and she could not give me an explanation, resorting to the same technique of bringing up her extensive experience of 20 years dealing with "thousands of patients." I'm so happy for everyone else that this has worked for, unfortunately for my husband it did not. He was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and he didn't want to take the prescription the doctor suggested for the rest of his life, so we started researching more natural ways to do things and came across Create Wellness. While Dr. Nikzad is very kind, the office is clean and rest of the staff is nice, unfortunately nothing she tried helped him. He took countless hours off of work to travel to her office because she has very limited working hours, and after more than 6 months he saw no improvement at all. Unfortunately we wasted over $7,000 because we were led to believe that buying the treatment package upfront was the best way to go, and since insurance didn't cover it, we spent the money on a credit card out of desperation for him to feel better. After spending almost all the money in the "package" with no results, the only suggestion was to keep coming back for more treatment. I understand healing doesn't happen overnight, but after six months, multiple supplements, treatments etc, and A LOT of time and money spent, we were incredibly disappointed with the results. When I started seeing Dr. Nikzad about 5 months ago, I could only eat seven foods without severe consequences. I don't know how many I can eat now, but it's probably at least five or six times what I could eat before, so I can tell you from experiencing it myself, that NAET works. I have also had a few other treatments at Create Wellness. I get IV treatments which make me feel great & full of energy and I had three NAD treatments that took care of at least 60-70% of the severe brain fog that I dealt with on a daily basis. Apart from the treatments, I am impressed with the team. Dr. Nikzad is a sweet human being that genuinely seems to care for her patients and rarely runs late (unheard of for a doctor)! The front desk team is attentive, helpful, quick to respond and very nice, which makes it a pleasure going to the office every week. I came in around August/September 2020 because I couldn't keep food down, I was constipated, and my eczema was a NIGHTMARE. Dr. Nikzad and her staff have done wonders for our son. He is 8 years old and has suffered from migraines for a few years. We wanted a more natural approach to treat the headaches he was experiencing(1-2 a week). After attending a very informative information session, I had an appointment with Dr. Jared Taylor and found I would be a candidate for stem cell injection into the knee which had not been operated on. My wife and I opted to purchase two vials of the cells, one for immediate use and one for later. My injection happened 11/1 2018and there was less pain almost immediately. Dr Nikzad is very knowledgable and has very effective treatments. She has treated myself and my son for health issues. My son had severe allergies to so many thing including dust, trees to wheat. He was on 6 medicines for allergies, asthma and eczema when we started seeing her not he only uses 1 inhaler occasionally. We had been to allergists and doctors about this and they continued to add medications. Dr Nikzad got to the root of the matter. She detoxed his system and worked her way through the initial 16 allergy components. Then there was not as much effort needed to eliminate the specific allergies. We had a great experience with Dr. Roya. We started seeing her when my son was 4 years old. He had a lot of cold and flu infections followed with ear infection complications. We had to take Too many antibiotics. One of the moms from our preschool recommended us Dr. Roya. She said that her daughter almost never gets sick even when everyone around her are throwing up with stomach flu at preschool. Of course I wanted to know what is she doing to keep her child healthy. The answer was simple: "oh, we are just seeing Dr. Roya!" We went through the series of treatments and we never took antibiotics since. We almost never see our pediatrician now. Wonderful Doctor. Dr Nikzad is experienced and very smart. The NAET method works to eliminate allergies naturally. This is a great relief to people who previously thought they just needed to live with it, you don't. Please give an NAET practitioner a chance. Dr. Roya provides a comprehensive treatment of a clearing followed by an Acupuncture treatment that is provided by another practitioner, but all included in the price of 1 treatment. She also is very knowledgeable about some natural vitamins and herbal supplements. She has muscled checked what vitamins or herbal supplements would help me and they have all really helped me. I was referred to Dr. Roya Nikzad by my Mom and sister. She is very well known amongst my friends and I too. I started going to the Allergy and Acupuncture Center due to acne on my face.
