You get asked a few questions about your energy and what you want to focus on and then for acupuncture, they'll check your energy levels. After inserting the needles in, they leave you to it. No music or meditation or chants. Just you, and the car horns outside. I think that's where I'm a little disappointed. Other places I've been either give you one of the two and check in on you. I was just sorta left for I'm assuming was 30 minutes? There's no clocks so I lost track of time. Next few times I came, I was prepared to do some meditation on my own and really focus on my thoughts, breathing and healing. I have pretty decent insurance and so it only came out to about 20 bucks per session and at that price, it goes from a 3 star review to a 4 star. But without that, I could easily rate this a 3 star place. I'll be coming back for sure though. Every where else seems to have a wait list or they aren't as nice. Everyone is super nice. You wont find anyone not happy to be there.

Seeing Dr. Koperski was my last option, and I honestly wasn't sure anything could be done to help me. Dr. Koperski is a wonderful lister, positive, professional and knowledgeable! Working with her has been a journey of healing, detoxing, and yes, nourishing. I have received amazing results. I have my strength and stamina back. I never thought I would regain hiking, biking, backpacking...but I have. I'm back doing the things I did pre-onset, and I would say "symptom free". So grateful for Nourish, and Dr. Koperski! I hope you know the blessing you have been to me and my family!!! John D

I was referred to Nourish by a friend. I browsed their web site and read over the 'Providers and…read moreStaff' bios to try and decide which doctor I wanted to see based on my needs. Honestly, it was a bit of a shot in the dark. Prices of visits vary depending on who you see. I called to make an appointment, and was disappointed to find out it was about 3 months before I could get in. I was called and offered an earlier appointment when someone else cancelled, but I couldn't make it, so I stuck with my original appointment time. The front desk staff were always pleasant when I interacted with them. You have the option to visit in person or through an on-line virtual video visit. For my first visit, I decided to go in-person as I wanted to make a connection with the doctor and for her to really "see me". The office is very clean, modern and upscale, although not 'cold and clinical'. The decor colors are welcoming and serene. There is a waiting room and then you're called back to your doctor's office and you walk through a common area with a large table. There's a small restroom and a phlebotomist's room. I left after my first visit (which was about an hour) with my head spinning slightly as I felt like I had some 'homework' to do before my next visit. This included downloading an app, through which to order supplements and ordering said supplements. Organizing getting bloodwork (which, after some research turned out to be less expensive through a 3rd party lab, not through the Nourish phlebotomist), ordering a prescription through a compound pharmacy and purchasing and utilizing a continual glucose monitor through another retail outlet. While wearing the monitor, I had to enter any food consumed and any exercise activity into the glucose monitor app. Communication with your Nourish doctor is done through a 'patient portal'. Any messages I sent were usually answered within a couple of days. I also called the front desk a few times with questions. For my second visit, I chose the convenience of meeting virtually on-line to save the commute time. This visit was about 40 minutes, done through the portal. The doctor I chose was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant, but not particularly warm and bubbly. She didn't smile much. Not a lot of pleasantries like , 'How was your summer?' or 'How was the drive here?' or whatever, just strictly down to business. That's OK, but I like a little bit more of a friendlier/interactive bedside manner. Between two visits, some bloodwork (outside my provider network), several supplements, a compound pharmacy prescription and mail delivery, plus purchasing a glucose monitor, (also out of my provider network), I spent just over $1,100. After my second visit, it kind of occurred to me that the operation relies a little heavily on the recommendation of supplements which you order through a portal they suggest -- obviously they make a commission. (I was told by the front desk to 'Not order through Amazon'!) I didn't feel like the first set of supplements had done much, so I decided not to order the second set that was suggested. I felt I was given very minimal nutritional advice. I'm glad I gave Nourish and naturopathy a try and I was pleased that I was tested/monitored for things that my regular medical provider wouldn't bother testing for, however, ultimately I didn't feel like it solved much for me. There is free on-site parking.

I needed help outside the system. After several hours of vetting, I decided to take a chance on SD Naturopathic. In the months that ensued, Dr. Wanni executed comprehensive testing with personalized insights and educated me on the importance of nutrition paired with supplements that I had never heard of. Dr. Wanni explained my lab results in a way I could understand them. His knowledge and care exceeded my expectations. He put me on the path to a healthy lifestyle. I even lost weight, which was a big plus! As I regained my energy and felt better, my life changed. His staff, Jami, and Karen have been a great support, thanks ladies, you're the BEST! my endless questions, and multiple instances when I was stuck in the tech aspect of the program, you were always there for me. Being insulin resistant I think that only the SD Naturapathic protocol would have led me to the understanding of what it takes to be truly healthy. I am amazed at my youthful (LOL) age of 71. I'm back to hiking and even purchased a 48" rebounder trampoline. Dr. Waggi, which I refer to as Dr. Wonderful, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, for opening this door wide and leaving it open. I'm not altogether happy but the basic premise is correct, the program does work, and the staff are very kind and knowledgeable. In the final analysis, I am definitely better off but not to the tune of what we paid, and it's impeded our ability to obtain further treatment for me; perhaps we'll get a partial refund. My husband and I were uncertain and explained that we've got some unusual circumstances that present some barriers. During the consult, "Doc Wanni" told us that the money would help motivate my commitment to the program, my success, my health, and my future; we were also told that I'd be getting lots of personal attention, etc., but there were some kinks in the system for me, so perhaps what I experienced is a symptom of virtual medicine. The practice got a couple of new computer applications on-boarded shortly after I signed up, so some of what happened was due to falling through cracks; you do get lifetime access to those systems. Yes, there is help, but perhaps an up close and personal approach is better for some people. I'm 63 and that's how much weight I've lost in the last couple of years, after breaking my ankle in 5 places 12 years ago and putting on 50 lbs. in the ensuing 10 yrs. (reconstructive surgery, etc.). A dental problem erupted for me about a month into it, at which point I was doing detox and reintroduction while contending with the affects of opioids and antibiotics, as well as developing diarrhea (for a month); I had to try to backtrack the nutritional steps and figure out what was going on. Hormonal imbalance is a symptom of various issues, as is my ongoing sleep disturbance, and while some hormone supplements are safe, efficient, and effective, there are Asian and Ayurvedic remedies and other modalities that work (albeit relatively slowly). I was under the impression that naturopathic medicine didn't include HRT, but it does - for women younger than me, so I'm still confused (and hoping for the help that I need AND want).

She broke out last winter after a fungal infection, Covid, and several congestions. The pediatrician, Allergist, and Dermatologist all prescribed a steroid, told us to apply it, and that she would grow out of it. I felt like it was making her eczema worse! The Allergist even thought she would have to go on Dupixent and that's how bad it was. We finally were able to see Dr. Natasha via virtual video call and she broke everything down for us and answered all of our questions. My husband was skeptical and to be honest even though I am a huge believer in holistic healing, I wasn't sure myself because I've never known anyone whose eczema cleared up.
