Picked Justin mostly because he was available when I needed it at the time, but I couldn't have found anyone better and have stuck with him since. I think his thing is medium length cuts but Justin also handles short cuts like a boss. My cuts with Justin are always super clean and he gets the length and look right every time. He's listens to what I'm looking for and gets the job done. He is knowledgeable about his craft, and gives great tips on hair products and styling that is personalized to you and your goals. Michael C. always gets the job done when I need a fresh cut! I ultimately changed my hairstyle after he recommended cutting my hair more "naturally" (without a lineup). His pricing is very fair; he recently raised his prices, as most places did in the barber industry. I usually get an inch off the top and a low drop fade! I love how he takes his time and is very precise with the clippers on the top. The payment/choosing a barber process is relatively easy on the platform the barbershop uses. The only hassle is that you have to enter your credit card information before the appointment. You can also pay cash. The app then sends you confirmation and reminder texts, so it's impossible to miss your appointment! The shop is very clean and modern! My hair was past my eyes, and I had a mullet in the back. I specifically asked for 1 1/4 inch shorter everywhere. Super simple instructions. My barber Tim was either faded than a hoe, or fried because he cut off my mullet, gave me the worst fade ever, that was extremely choppy, and then told me he didn't know what I wanted to do with my hair. I didn't either because I didn't expect to be getting a fucked up fade. He kept making the front of my hair uneven and bowl-y, and everytime I asked him to fix it, he just switched the uneven sides. It was horrible, I ended up just leaving before he could do any more harm, and going to a beauty salon to have it fixed. Been coming here since I moved to SoCal right before the pandemic. Moving to a new spot is kinda hard esp when you need to find a new barber that can line you up how you want it. I searched on IG and came across Noel's IG. Saw his work and thought I'd give him a shot. I wasn't sure if he was accepting new clients but I reached out and surprisingly he was. Booked an appt and when the time came went in, told him what I wanted and he got to work. We chatted while he was working which was cool. He's very chill and very down to earth. i decided to dye my beard. i ended up with a disaster i had 3 different colors and my wife said shave it you like like you were drunk when u dyed it.haha. so friday i went on yelp and called numerous barber shops and beauty salons. No one would dye my beard. so next i called create barbers. Steve answered the phone i explained my issue and he had me send a couple pics of my multi colored beard and said no problem he could fix it. i made an appt for the following day and went in. Steve Z. is an amazing barber. Went in with two pictures; one for color of highlights i wanted and another for the style. He nailed both of them. I would say he could be classified as an artist. His knowledge of cuts and color is vast. I asked for caramel highlights with no blonde hue's as i have never dyed my hair before and wanted to try something new and was scared of coming out blonde; and he nailed it! He even made recommendations of how i could grow my beard and hair as well as style it going forwards so that my hair would always look clean, new and fresh. Highly recommend this place, the vibe /music is great, the barber I had's name is Michael and he was friendly, fast and made sure he achieved the look I came in for. It was my first time and I will be going back. The location is convenient, there's parking in front and back (I recommend the front so you can see your car) and they're next to the best donut shop in the area. Man! What can I say. Cray isn't a barber, he's a HAIR STYLIST. Tbh, you can go down the street and get a taper or line up from anyone but that's not why you go to him. Of course he does pristine tapers and line ups but you go for the premium service and knowledge of the industry/trends. The separation of Cray is that he knows how to do it all while providing great tips on how to keep the haircut exquisite between haircuts. His haircuts last 3-4 weeks for me while others loose form and volume within a week and a half. Lastly, a huge difference, and I'm being serious, is you leave the chair clean with maybe 3 pieces MAX of hair on your shirt/body. I found Justin off of TikTok and thought he'd be a good barber from his videos. I came in and was greeted by him telling him what I wanted for my haircut. I don't know what he was doing or if it was too early but he did not cut it the way I told him, not even close. I wanted a blowout taper with a textured fringe on top. He cut the sides and back of my hair uneven when a barber friend of mine inspected it and told me it was all choppy and cut it horribly wrong. Not to mention he started rushing my haircut at the end because he was already an hour and thirty minutes into my haircut and hadn't even touch the top. The customer next in line for Justin arrived and he started rushing the top of my hair and overall messed it up. He cut my hair way too short and didn't even texture it. I think he knew he did a bad job because I got a text message the same day where he said he could fix the top if I swing by for a few minutes. At this point I couldn't trust him and told him that I was appreciative of his text back and thought there was no saving or fixing the haircut as it was cut way shorter than what I wanted. I even got roasted the next day at work I was forced to wear a hat for them to stop. Do not go here. Ever. read more
