She asked questions at exactly the right time to get me thinking about each step of the wedding planning process in a manageable way. I was especially impressed with her communication style. She was so upfront about her schedule and would frequently let me know when she had weekend wedding events and ask if I had questions before a period of less communication. This let me know that (a) she dedicates herself fully to events, and (b) gave me the opportunity to ask her anything pressing in advance. She made herself so available for all of my questions and had an impressive response time. Jaclyn is a great people-manager. Sonya is very professional and we have trusted her many times to help bring our vision come to fruition. I give her a theme, a color palette, and all creative freedom to make our venue "pop" and it always comes together beautifully at the end. Main photo backdrops are always a main attraction and she brings the showstoppers, giving every one of our parties that wow factor. We have also used some of her background arches/custom boards, and various party rentals item from the a la cart menu, which even included a bounce house! It's a great one stop shop for your party needs. The balloon arches also last awhile, we have brought home arches to hang up at our house post parties, and they've lasted up to an extra 4 months! Sonya is always on time, easy to talk to/ plan with and really listens to what you want your vision to be. Working with Sonya has been a great joy and will definitely continue to come back for future events planning!

After being there for 1.5 hours, I left with a stack of magazines, vendor information, a wedding resource book, and a better idea of what I wanted for my wedding. Leah helped me a lot in having me rank the different wedding related items to see what was important to me. This helped me with determining my budget and made me realize what was important for me to include in the wedding. Leah also followed up with me on certain vendors after our appointment and was always willing to help. The only downside with The Bridal Bar is that they only recommend vendors that pay them to advertise their services. Since they are in La Jolla, a number of the vendors are on the pricier side. There's no expense to you to use their services though, so I definitely recommend them to anyone planning their wedding in San Diego.
