I was looking to rent a dance floor for our wedding at the Fullerton Community Center a few weeks ago and tried to use another company. When I called them they asked me a million questions. One being that even if the dance floor is on concrete they might not be able to deliver it if it's not completely level. They sent me a quote which had the wrong delivery time on it. Then as soon as I asked them for the different time slot for the delivery from 1-3pm instead of 11-1 they sent me an updated quote which had wanted to charge me $60 more in a 'service fee'. That prompted me to look elsewhere and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I sent a yelp message, Amanda, was so helpful, quick to respond, and very accommodating with everything. We found Create-A-Party 2 years ago and have used them for our last 2 Christmas Parties. Their team worked with our schedule. We were unsure of the area where we had space for the tent and wanted to make sure it would fit and meet their tent requirements. They sent out a driver two weeks earlier to check it out. I am extremely happy with this rental place. They delivered what we ordered and picked up what we ordered with ease. The delivery guys were professional and helpful with how to assemble items. They were very quick to tear down and polite about my need to move my dogs. Prices were very reasonable. The only thing I wish they had was a picture of the smaller tents. We should have went with a much bigger canopy, as it was very hot that day. Chairs and tables were obviously used frequently, but in good shape. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND SHOCKED!! I hired create a party based on their good reviews on Yelp for my baby's first birthday party. I spoke to Jeffery and specifically asked for umbrellas that would give our guests the maximum amount of shade since the party is in July and it gets really hot in here. He suggested the free standing umbrellas and assured me it would give us a 90% coverage so we got five of those for $135. The delivery guys showed up and tried to move the umbrellas around to get any shades on the chairs but were unsuccessful and one of the guys gave us attitude and said those umbrellas are decorative only and not for shade and that they should have suggested the wider range umbrellas if we were looking for shade!! After they left my husband and I tried everything, putting them in the whole in the middle of the table but the shade would only be on the table and not the chairs around it or use the free standing but nothing worked and our guests ended up lining under our trees or leaving early since they had small kids and couldn't take the sun and we were unable to use the tables and chairs that we paid $400 for! We worked so hard for this day to be a memorable day for us and our guests but create a party made it a miserable experience! There are many companies to rent party rentals but I had a great experience with Create a party rental since the beg ending, I didn't only save a lot of money renting their beautiful fruitwood tables as they price is below the $100 but their staff is amazingly friendly from the office personal to the delivery guys. We had the privilege to get Nicolas, Rafael and Manuel to deliver our beautiful table on July 23rd in Fullerton. These guys to the time to built the tables on site and took the time to make sure all tables were labeled and align. They can get you nicer items, but they have to outsource those, so you end up paying more than if you just rented them from a company that carries them directly. I needed to rent linens last minute for a bridal shower. They were able to accommodate me that day since I only needed 7 linens. They had me in and out quickly and efficiently. One con is the price. It was $65 for 7 linens for 1 week. The linens were good quality, however I found the price steep.
