I just fired my old dentist office because they can't measure bp accurately. I went in to get a…read morefilling replaced. They measured my bp before giving me anesthetic. That's standard practice. But, their measurement was like 160/110, which is high, but also inaccurate. So, I left. My internist measured it a couple months ago at 114/82. I measured it when I got home, and it was 128/73. I'm compliant with my bp meds and took them this morning. My advice to Hedrick Family Dentistry and Dr. Chen specifically is to learn how to properly measure bp on big and tall patients.

These people couldn't give me any information and now I'm being told my children will have to wait for their next available appointment which could be months from now! They couldn't even give me new appointments! I'm being told they will have to call me back. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told none were available to speak with me but will call me back. I'm now waiting to hear from a Ms. Angie or a Ms. Taquila to discuss this huge inconvenience and why this happened and how we can avoid this happening again.
