It's adjacent to a paved bike trail that goes north 15+ miles to Portola. They have a beach. Free public bathrooms. They have a ramp to put your boat on the water. A fine dining restaurant on the water. Some weekends they have concerts--I stopped in for one on the Sunday before Labor Day--Country Music. I was talking to this guy that lives there. He tells me that he has a home, an RV, and a boat. So I congratulate him on his success... I tell him it must be nice to have a boat to put on out on the water here. He says no way--I will not put my boat in Salt water! I haul it to the lake. Okaaaay...

There is a ton of free parking, clean public bathrooms, and the beautiful coastline. Recently took the boat out of the water for a marine survey and of course the bottom paint is so bad that includes air bubbles on all the metal with no primer and the entire work needs to be redone. Not only I paid him again to cover his own work yet was not done right. Of course I had to deal with Jessie's attitude and him pointing finger at the diver which he has 20 plus year of experience of cleaning boats. Avoid this place

Trying to save a spot before the mad rush with people. Summers afternoon all day on the beach frolicking around enjoy the water. When you're young, you don't care what the water was like. The hours of bike rides along the path from the pier to the marina, shoreline village and back to Belmont shores. This place is one of those that just makes you smile reminding you of your childhood. I still come down whenever I'm in town to have a walk along the waterfront. Checking out the boats all lines up in the docks. The view of the Queen Mary docked permanently along the water. People watching and of course the sunsets. It's a place for all that and then some. It's a local hotspot for bike rides, exercise, and dates. Also a hotspot for the tourist enjoying Long Beach. A nostalgic experience each and every time. A nice place for just doing nothing.
