The first time I walked into this shop, I had never beaded before. The owner of the shop walked me through the entire store explaining the different types of beads and tools. Then she had me pick out some beads I loved (that was hard, I liked a ton of them) and she actually helped me put together my very first bracelet. Ever since then, I've been addicted to beading.
One problem I've noticed on visits back is that she tends to treat all of her customers like they are planning to steal from her. She follows them around and watches them quite carefully. She will also pre-judge your financial status and then tell you how expensive the beads are if she doesn't feel you'll be able to afford them. I actually have watched her treat people like criminals...from teenagers to business women. I guess if she is that paranoid about it, it would be better to install security cameras.
Though she has always been rather personable to me, I find her treatment of other customers disturbing. read more
